I love looking at Balenciaga Motorcycle bags and I love them on other people. Somehow they look so awesome on everyone else! I had one once and ended up selling it - it just didn’t look the same on me. I don’t know why. I really tried to make it work! But they look fabulous on everyone who isn’t me!!
I know what you mean!!!!! I have the same problem with the Pochette Metis. I love the PM in all variations, and on others, but I think they look terrible on me. I feel like they make me look gigantic! I even used to own one.

I had the same problem! Was so excited to wear it....until I looked in the mirror. Ugh.

Okay this will be controversial but I dont get the hype around LV neverfulls.

First of all, everyone has one which makes them feel less special and most of the time people use them as work bags/beater bags. Its the most basic bag ever just a tote bag with no zipper or zip compartments to protect electronics or medicine in case it rains. I always carry benedryl and aspirin when I am on the go.

Maybe I could get on board if it wasnt 1k or over 1k but for that much money I need a zip compartment and something that 50 percent of the female population of my city doesn't already own.

I do like LV...the checker prints and other designs excluding the mongram print in particular but I would prefer them in a bag that isnt in the diaper bag family.

I know I dont have kids yet and one day I will need a stylish diaper bag and maybe then I will warm to the neverfull bags. Okay I will go hide now :)

I go back and forth on the neverful myself. I see its usefulness as an airplane carryon-sort of- but the zipper on a speedy 35 seems more secure for under-the-seat plane travel and almost as roomy. Then again, the neverful‘s wide opening makes contents easier to access. So- idk!

For me it is a stylish work horse tote due to the durability of the canvas even though you see it on nearly every third woman. And that it is so carefree, that's maybe the exact reason why it is loved by so many (plus it is also places at the LV-entry level pricewise). It is a go-to bag without thinking if you have to carry more or larger things.
But as it is with every bag, it depends on the purpose and if you like the style in general. If you don't like totes, them you will never get the Neverfull.

On the contrast, I don't get the speedy hype. It is just a black hole and I don't like the floppy bottom which hangs through.

I see what you are saying about the speedy. I saw one in solid black and it looked like a retro doctor's bag from the 40s or 50s.

I get what you are saying about neverfuls actually. When I used to live in the north east of the US I think I admired them and liked them because they are styliag and werent as common. Now I live near Miami and West Palm Beach and at times 50 percent of the general public is carrying one. Some of them are fakes for sure but most are probably authentic. Or perhaps it isnt a regional differeence and they have just been becoming more popular lately?

I was at the nail salon recently in Miami and spotted at least 4 neverfulls while I was getting a mani.

I go back and forth on the Neverfull; I do get that it's light, it has 2 looks (sides cinched in), the canvas is durable, and the ones now have a useful pouch that can be used in other bags. However, as someone who does have kids, it would never work as a diaper bag for me because I need a tote that has lots of pockets, both on the exterior and interior (especially for water bottles), most definitely has a zippered top, and has a crossbody option. So just throwing in that having kids probably wouldn't change your outlook on the Neverfull...

I love the Speedy style itself, especially the bandouliere, but I also don't like the sagging...so haha, I guess I go back and forth on this one too...
