Bag defect (Azur color) or it’s how supposed to be?

Thank you everyone for the input, she just called LV and SA suggested her to send the bag to one of the store here (in Canada) to check. I will update once she hears back from them.

Looks like color transfer. I have a similar color in my Sperone backpack. It comes from the red glazing around the vachetta.

There is stitching on it, it’s a bit hard to see bc it’s white. To me this just looks like color transfer, but i’d definitely take it in just in case.

I had my thinking cap on today. I use to have to deal with bespoke curtain makers and they always made the very top bit especially on eyelet curtains sturdier double backed so that the material hangs better and that the eyelets wouldn' cause the fabric around it to crinkle if it was too thin. But then we would moan at them that the lining was too thin as could see the fabric pattern in daylight no good for guest wanting a good night kip or afternoon nap. But that was my logic could be completely wrong

Wow, on the basis that it's authentic then that definitely needs looking at ASAP. Has it turned pink all the way round and the bottom or just the side you have pictured?

They have had this problem in the past with the glue on white MC pieces reacting with the red lining and turning the canvas peach. It generally happened around seam lines though, not all over. Am removing this item from my wishlist for the time being. Can you post again when you have an answer from the LV store?

Shouldn't be - they've repaired/exchanged due to defects for my overseas purchases over the years.

She may drive down to Minneapolis to a store and let them check the bag. Quite complicate I guess, lives in Canada, bought the bag from France, and may go to the US to exchange it.

Well unless she's managed to do something very weird then colour transfer to that extent would seem unlikely.

I meant colour transfer from anything she was wearing (which can happen with Azur).
