Wow, just exactly like my friend’s bag.
Someone posted that it’s because of the pink lining.Did you find out what cause the color change?
FYI I just bought mine last February, walked in to the LV store in Portland Or and was told that my bag was defective and would eventually turn pink. Got to pick out a brand new bag!!
I have to same problem with mine. Bought it last year in Paris. The repair department at my local store took about 4 days to get back to me. They are giving me a credit. View attachment 4080221 View attachment 4080222
Do you live close to an LV boutique? It would be best o take the bag into the boutique if you do.My Girolata looks EXACTLY like this. It was purchased in London. I didn't notice it until about 18 months ago and I figured it was color transfer! Since I only use the Girolata in the spring and summer, I think it sat in my closet from summer 2019 until early 2020. Since this post is so old, does anyone have any advice?
I'm going to contact Louis Vuitton about it this coming week. And, I'll read the rest of the posts in this thread.

I live about 3 hours from the nearest LV boutique, so I decided to contact LV's customer service a few days ago. They had me fill out a "repair ticket" for the Girolata and submit photos. The pink bleed looks even worse now (the photo above was taken earlier this year). This morning I received an email from them asking for "proof of purchase" which the photos are being evaluated. All I have is a gift receipt from Harrods of London from 2018 and the tag.Do you live close to an LV boutique? It would be best o take the bag into the boutique if you do.
I haven't seen anyone post that they have. I don't see how you could reverse it since it's basically saturated with the pink stain from the lining. I'd even wonder if the heat/sunlight would make it worse?Has anyone successfully managed to reverse the pinking? Maybe sunlight bleaching or some other method?
