i've rented enough bags from them, some of them are so gross that i didn't even want to touch it.

the positive in all this is that we've gained you as a new member!! welcome to the forums! i think you'll find all the members here super helpful with bag questions, dimensions, styles, everything from a to z.

I have tried them out for a year. They weren't too bad. I rented bags that you couldn't find anywhere else anymore, and stole them when they were in "excellent" condition. I wouldn't buy LVs from them though just because they are the most rented. You can only refurbish them look "new" to some point. I rented not because I couldn't afford buying them but just because I do have a bag addiction. I get tired of my bags easily. I bought new bags, and rented at the same time... I just worked around my addiction of having a "new" bag every time by renting so it worked for me. I'm sorry it didn't work for some people...

Thanks betty.lee!

You're right, even though I had a very negative experience with BBOS, it was enough to prompt me to sign up for this forum, since I've been skulking about for quite some time but had never felt the need to join until now.

From what I've seen so far, I can tell you guys are going to be VERY BAD for my checkbook. ;)

Chloe if you don't mind me asking what did you buy? I've been eyeing a Michael Kors bag and I'm afraid to buy from them because if it is in bad shape they don't accept returns.. that puts me off

Hi Chloe, and welcome to the forum....yes you did respond right:D, I got on live chat with them tonight to ask if they could email me pictures and the lady assured me the bag was in excellent condition and told me they bought the bag from Michael kors not from a customer and sad the bag has minimal wear.... I really want the bag but I'm nervous because of their no refund policy

Tha. t's what he told me too that they got it from a wholesaler And that the bag was new some people have had good experiences to be honest I wouldn't do it are they sold out of it and also they sell bags that have been rented out and its not renting out anymore then they'll sell it. I know how u feel I was so excited to get my "new" bag then I opened the box and I was so disappointed.

I'd prefer buying a bag over renting. I get the concept of borrowing to make sure you love it, or if you can't afford the actual bag, to "borrow" it for a few weeks... But in the end, you still don't end up with a bag.

I haven't rented bags from them but bought a previously rented bag from them and it was a disaster. Yes, you can return for credit, but what's the point if bags are in terrible condition? They are the reason my policy became "If I can't return it, I'm not buying it".

It's funny how they state satisfaction guaranteed and that their bags are gently used....I agree if u can't return it don't buy it

I actually had NO idea this existed until I saw the Sex and the City movie. They mentioned the site on there... I looked it up for kicks and thought it was pricey. I would rather save up and purchase my own bag. When you shop around you are able to find some really good deal on labels. For me, that is half the fun... the other half is bringing home my conquest. :-)

$175 a month? that's $2100 a year. hmm..think of what you could buy (and own!) with that $2100. rental is definitely not my preferred option, but that's just me. everyone's different, with different needs so I guess this is really a very personal choice.
