Bad experience at Louis Vuitton!

I completely understand your viewpoint OP. When you are in the moment you don't want to let the item to slip away. But I have learned now from a current SA that I work with that she can order in a fresh item for you (if it is available) that way you don't have to take the display model. I try my best to inspect the SLG or handbag, and if I'm not satisfied with the quality I ask if they have any more in the back. Sometimes I think I'm being too picky, but not really! I'm paying for an expensive item and I want to be 100% happy with it.

As for the customer service aspect - I think it's hit and miss across the board with retail in general. I have had good and bad SA's at LV. It's true -for some, it is just a paycheck to some and the job can get monotonous. Whereas, others just have the personality to excel in customer service. I will continue to purchase from LV because I love the brand. I try my best to avoid the grumpy SA's at the LV closest to me!
