That would help B. Makowsky profusely! Otherwise, I kind of like their bags now.I have two B.Makowski bags and they've been fine. Nothing has fallen apart. I used to really not like their bags because I thought they were just downright ugly, but over the last year, I've noticed that they are getting a lot better looking. At least a lot of that chunky, heavy, metal hardware has gone. I bought both of my bags at Nordstrom Rack and they were marked WAY down. There was the regular Nordstrom Rack markdown and then a big additional markdown almost at a give-away price.
^^Grace- I love that bag in the blue! I bought the same style in plain leather last winter in the cognac color and have been very happy. Bright colors make that purse really stand out more!
I have one croc-embossed bag that I like a lot. I wish he'd get a makeover tho, his hairstyle always gets me when he's on QVC.
This is my bag, I bought it in the blue as shown: http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/...ms.tpl.csweb.cm_scid.cswb.item.A199015.cc.030
ITA about his hair. He reminds me of a creepy cars salesmen sometimes.
I was mad when I threw it away. You should have seen the letter they sent me when I first emailed them to get my bag fixed. They said I had to go back to the retailer, that they had a special relationship with their retailers, and that I should ask for the manager. None of that was possible for me since I bought the bag at a Marshalls last summer when we were on vacation on another state.
So another lesson I learned from this is not to buy a handbag when I'm far from home unless it's from a reputable company that stands behind its products.
The fact that they said they have a special relationship with retailers tells me they know their products are going to have problems. In my opinion, they would be better off making special relationships with customers. I accidentally damaged one of my Doonies year before last, and Dooney & Bourke were so great to work with. I sent the bag to them and they fixed it. While I thought I would have to pay for the repair since it was my fault, they didn't charge me a dime! That is the kind of customer service that will keep me coming back over and over. B Makowsky should learn some of that.
I am trying to contact B. Makowsky about my bag and have been searching all over for an email address or phone number. No luck. However, it sounds like you were able to find something. Can you pass this information along? After reading all the postings I understand that I may have zero luck with their customer service, but I thought I'd try my best...
Thanks.
