THANK YOU for posting this. I was so disappointed that my request was ignored especially since I had paid upfront and requested the authentication by a certain date. A4U has such a great reputation so I was surprised by the lack of response. I ended up going with another provider and paying twice but I feel better knowing A4U did not ignore my request on purpose. I hope they resolve their problems soon.

Thanks BB, for the links.:smile1:
Let's hope they resolve their issue soon, I know they will NOT ignore any request on purpose, Nor they will scam people out of $7.50, they are very reputable and reliable service and something like this happen beyond their control, whilst I understand people maybe panicking and worry about their money, I wish people not jump into conclusion by making assumption and As a result, tarnishing their name. JMHO :smile1:
BTW, I'm glad the OP have a great understanding in this, best wishes to you and let's hope your future need with their service will be a smooth one.

Thanks so much for the links, explanation, and update! I have been using A4U for a few months since I've started selling designer items, and have found their services exceptional. Sorry to hear about their issues. I had paid for 3 authentications toward the end of December, and after a week of no response, I knew something had to be going on, so I came to check in here at TPF, and found this thread. I have no doubt they will fulfill the request or refund me when they are back up and running, and I will certainly continue to use their services! :)

Hello. Has anyone used this service and if you have what is usually the turn around time? I understand they are in a different time zone. They were very quick to respond to my first initial email asking questions however now I cannot get any response. I sent an email according to their directions with a link to the photobucket with the images and I paid via PayPal at their site. I have sent other emails just checking if they received the payment an pictures and no response. ??? Thx!

Hi Ladies,

From experience, has anyone recently tried to contact Authenticate4u with success?

I have been trying to reach them through emails / phone calls but I did not receive any revert - how long is their turnaround time usually?

It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received the statement of authentication as promised, and the deadline of my Paypal claim is tomorrow :crybaby: (I had to call in to extend/appeal for an extension of deadline many times as Authenticate4u takes a really long time, unfortunately)

Are there any other way(s) to contact them directly (apart from emails) where they will be able to revert promptly? Thank you!

They are having issues. They claim it's due to there hosting service. I know they received my emails because they responded each time I sent an email stating I had not received my authentication. Today they told me my item is authentic and gave me a refund.

I think you will find that we have contacted you. Please do check your mail.

Also do bear in mind that in any Claim we MUST ensure an item is correctly evaluated, and in many cases this may entail having the item reviewed by more than one authenticator. Oddly we do not merely take a clients word for an item being fake.

Please also bear in mind that in our authentications - these are always carried out on PC/Laptop and not on a mobile device - that, in our view, is not suitable for authentication purpose. Also - some of our team may be travelling, and this does lead to a delay. In all cases our clients are updated with news - and therefore if you have not received communication then I would suggest you do check your mailbox and/or spam and junk - as we are not experiencing any difficulties with our mail system, other than a random error message which does seem to be popping up.

HI Lescoy, I sent you an authentication request on Thursday (already paid for it via PayPal as well), I checked my Spam folder, and didn't get a reply yet. I understand you are having problems with your e-mail, website, phone etc. What is the best way to reach you and check on my request? Do you have an alternate e-mail I could forward my request to?
many thanks, I hope you get your IT issues sorted out soon.

As far as we are aware there is no issue with our mail system. I have asked our service to check - and so will update - but all requests should definitely have had a response. We were away from Friday until Monday morning - but we are not aware of any issue with mail during this time.
