What the heck?!?! I sent the request on the 24th, I got an e-mail from Lesley on the 26th letting me know somebody will be sending me the E-mail Evaluation that my purse is indeed authentic. Today is the 28th & I'm still waiting! I've e-mailed Lesley for follow up but no words from her either.
Is this normal?!?!
I can vouch from experience that the slight delays that they are experiencing this week are out of the ordinary. We have had hundreds of items vetted by authenticate4u and the vast majority of them come through within a 48 hour period. I know that Lesley has had some server issues this week as well as several other minor affairs that have caused temporary delays. Rest assured that anytime that there may be a delay in a certificate it does not seem to go unnoticed by Lesley and you should be able to expect something to come through soon. I hope this helps![]()
They are still in business and accepting authentication requests. However, when you email them, you may get a 'mailbox is full' message. Lesley has told me they still get the emails because they have a back up system. I have about 13 authentications out with authenticate4u.com, that I have not heard back on. It's been nearly 10 days. A few has been nearly 20 days and no write up yet. Lesley did let me know they have been having internet and other problems, but I am worried they won't complete on time. Ebay has deadlines on these because they are reviewing my account. I wonder if part of the problem is they have too many authentications and not enough authenticators. It doesn't take too much time to look over 13 purses though.. I'm worried because these proofs of authenticity were requested by Ebay and the continued existence of my store depends on them, and I also have customers who are waiting for them. I hope to hear from them soon.Does this mean that you are not currently accepting new authentication requests?

Hi - to advise. Having had some personal matters to attend to, I can advise that whilst I appreciate the delay - the client has been made aware that the item is confirmed as authentic via email. As an added service, we do prepare a further document for our clients, and it is this which has not been received. The service itself has been carried out, the final piece in the jigsaw has not - although currently at 00.52 a.m., we are working on documents. Many Services provide ONLY an ordinary email - again, AFU go one step further - in an effort to provide a FULL and comprehensive service, at NO extra cost.
Best wishes to all.
I think you will find that documentation is ongoing and that backlog is being addressed.
Thanks for your concern - we are of course busy, but we value each and every client. Our Design Associates only authenticate ONE Design Brand, and if there is question on any item, then we will always have it rechecked by another Design Associate.
Its always interesting that when people complain, they never then actually come back and post that they receive their Service.
We have had Server issues - and I have personally had some difficulties - but these are not for discussion and do not and will not affect our ongoing commitment to our clients.
AFU offer a full Service, and will continue to do so.
