Authenticate4U.com experiences?

My personal experience was years ago. I paid for authentication and never received answer. I made a lot of statements because this thread needs of some balance. I am angry when I see how the overall picture is distorted by some people and many potential customers were fooled.

As I believe you work for a competitor, it's difficult for me to see your comments as springing solely from the perspective of a disgruntled former customer.

I used A4U many times in the past. They were very good in Prada authentication. They spent good amount of time in authenticating it and asked detailed pictures whenever it was needed. They never made a mistake in authenticating my bags. However, since last year I saw lack of communication and I actually thought they closed the business. I contacted them twice for some authentication service and never received a response, paypal had to reverse the payment.

They've had my pictures for about a week and a half now. How long should I wait? Anyone else have this problem? They were very responsive at first and since then have told me two or three times hat they would get to them "today" but then they don't. If the bag is fake I want to file a claim with eBay ASAP.

There is a lengthy thread on this very topic in the ebay forum. The issues with this company have been long-standing to say the least.

May be or may be not. That is your opinion. How you see I do not promote any authentication service here. This which we all know for sure is some authenticators from here work for authenticate4u. In my view is not wrong to work for authenticate4u and be authenticator here in tpf. But when you use the forum for personal vendetta and as platform to promote and protect someone even when things go wrong you keep away clients from obtain objective opinion which is purpose of this tread.
My opinions are not from the position of disgruntled former customer how you said but from position of the justice. I don't like to see months after months how some people here distort the truth and attach other people who have the courage to give negative opinion about this services. Always with the same reasons: May be you sold fake and A4U caught you, you work for competition, you are scammer, etc.

Re bolded text, isn't that what you're doing? I've never used the service and have no affiliation with it. But the more you rail against it as a competitor, the less credibility you have. And I don't see anyone protecting this service. People are detailing their own experiences, good and bad.

I'm almost sure you are not affiliated with authenticate4u and when I said some people they know who are.
You don't see anyone protecting this service ? Well just brose the thread again when you have time and you will see hundreds and hundreds such cases....obvious not suitable for any logic posts from the same people.

Interesting, I guess I should go look there. aftwr following up with them a few more times, they told me that they needed another opinion. Then almost instantly they replied and said everything was good. (There were multiple bags in my request.) so then it made me a little nervous of whether they were certain or not.

Just an FYI, any company can make mistakes, but I wanted to note that I purchased a Chanel RTW item a few months back and had it authenticated by A4U, who said it was authentic. I always had doubt in the back of my mind, because the quality is not the same as my other Chanel RTW and the tag seemed different, so I just had it authenticated by Etinceler, and they said that it is not authentic. So please be aware.

I'm really sorry about this, awful for you.

Did you contact A4U to advise them? My understanding is that Etinceler are exceptional Chanel authenticators. I appreciate there are communication issues with A4U but I do rely on them for correct authentications. If they've made a mistake then I that really needs flagging as their rep for correct authentication needs to be sustained.

Yes every authentication company which authenticate multiple brands sometimes make mistakes but Authenticate4u is worst of the worst.
Authentication is not only authentication of Coach bags.
There are much more expensive brands where authenticate4u are absolute amateurs and is dangerous for you pocked to use them. The poster above is example. Nicple0612..... I'm sorry for you.

If it's true that you work for a competitor, then absolutely shame on you for posting these inaccurate statements.

Sorry but your status as a competitor removes your credibility 100%.

I'm not affiliated with any authentication service. I have used Authenticate4U with no issue at all and am happy to post of my very positive experiences. From the feedback of this thread I absolutely appreciate that there are people here who have had communication issues, but the issue nicole0612 has had is the first of an inaccurate authentication I have read. (I am not doubting her at all; I appreciate mistakes happen but absolutely terrible thing to happen when it's you)

As you are so keen to disparage a competitor authentication service, I hope you let us all know the service you work for - so everyone that has personal experience of them can report back.

I didn't say I'm competitor and work for other service. This is mishkat's interpretation.
For about the first inaccurate authentication you have read. I'm not surprised. All such posts are quickly hidden between sea of false positive posts made by same people.
If you brose this thread back you will find enough. Here are 4 more which posted several days ago. Look at message 6 and 11 http://community.ebay.com/t5/Fashio...-Handbag-Authentication-Services/m-p/26112930
One more after quick search and post #138 https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate4u-com-experiences.837503/page-10 Here for some people logik may be the store sold fake bag to the client because authenticate4u are sinless.
Make your own research and you will find much more.

I saw the Ebay Forum thread and discounted the poster as they didn't give any details and said they used another authentication service which has a rotten reputation for multiple incorrect authentications....

The TPF post you linked to doesn't confirm at all that an incorrect authentication was given.

Regarding your bolded comment, you actually said "May be or may be not." Yet again, you are not confirming that you don't work for a competitor.

At this point, it doesn't matter to me whether you do or don't. My opinion is that you have made unsubstantiated, disparaging statements which you can't backup at all with either personal experience or any factual/confirmed information.

Shameful

This is free forum. I post the facts and you ask me whether I'm competitor. The truth is truth no matter from where come. Because you are happy with this service then use it future is your judgment and right.
