I'm sorry folks but they are very quick to ask customers to check their spam folders for "missing" authentications and given all their known communication/email/server issues, you'd think they'd keep an eye on their own spam folder. Just sayin'.

Failing that, if they don't want to be "bothered" with their website and want to move forward using Facebook then they need to alter their website to stop people contacting them through it.
This!

1000%....

They've had my pictures for about a week and a half now. How long should I wait? Anyone else have this problem? They were very responsive at first and since then have told me two or three times hat they would get to them "today" but then they don't. If the bag is fake I want to file a claim with eBay ASAP.

It will be 2 weeks on Sunday. So frustrating. They aren't even responding to me now. I'm debating if I should file a paypal claim. They have pictures of three bags so it's roughly $20 bucks that I paid them that they haven't followed through on. I don't want to be like that but it seems crazy to pay someone else to authenticate them when I've also given them money and they just didn't do it.

Just an FYI, any company can make mistakes, but I wanted to note that I purchased a Chanel RTW item a few months back and had it authenticated by A4U, who said it was authentic. I always had doubt in the back of my mind, because the quality is not the same as my other Chanel RTW and the tag seemed different, so I just had it authenticated by Etinceler, and they said that it is not authentic. So please be aware.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Very scary.

Yes every authentication company which authenticate multiple brands sometimes make mistakes but Authenticate4u is worst of the worst.
Authentication is not only authentication of Coach bags.
There are much more expensive brands where authenticate4u are absolute amateurs and is dangerous for you pocked to use them. The poster above is example. Nicple0612..... I'm sorry for you.

This is very very disappointing to hear
Etinceler is really tops for Chanel in the same regard that Bababebi is tops for Hermes.

I agree. If it is possible, always use Etinceler for Chanel and Bababebi for Hermes. If it is not possible (other brands, items they do not authenticate) then use 2 or more other services to double check and post in tPF authentication forums if possible.

So far you have made a lot of STATEMENTS about A4U. Have you dealt with them personally? Would you care to share your specific experience with them in detail? After all, that's what this thread is really about.

I am so sorry this happened to you! It is super annoying! I hope you sent the fake back and got your refund OK!

My personal experience was years ago. I paid for authentication and never received answer. I made a lot of statements because this thread needs of some balance. I am angry when I see how the overall picture is distorted by some people and many potential customers were fooled.

With all due respect, but this thread is not about making statements, nor it is about "balancing out" opinions without stating your own experience. If your own experience was about A4U being unresponsive, why are you making statements about them being wrong etc? The other poster nicole had her own experience of A4U being incorrect and that's fair and square.
