Authenticate4U.com experiences?

I did not, but I shouldn't have to! I followed the proper procedure; they shouldn't be ignoring me.

I just got an email from PayPal that Authenticate4U issued my refund and the case is closed. Still no response or explanation of why they never gave me the service, but at least I got my money back. So odd!

So incredibly rude! Clearly they know they messed up but no apology? Why do they even keep soliciting business?

I know, it's pretty bad. I kind of thought I just fell through the cracks or something (but then why not reply to my emails?), but now seeing here I'm not alone does not bode well for this company. I would definitely never use them in the future. I'm hesitant to use any service now as this was my first experience and I got burned!

I have used other services that were recommended on this thread and had very good experiences. This thread has almost become a place to go to ask for recommendations of other companies to use rather than authenticate4u.

You are right you should not have to but many who have not received responses were able to get one by reaching
out to her Facebook page & you are right again, that "you should not be ignored".
You likely will not get an explanation as to what perhaps happened as it usually one of many usual scenarios.
Good you got your refund!!

You are right..authenticate4u is currently having trouble and not in the office untill some times.. For everyone who is having no reply or so, this is probably why. I have got my refund from her after contacting her through fb.. If anyone is having trouble please try to contact her through Facebook. And I suggest you to use other authenticator for the moment..

I have also had the same issues with A4U and their turnaround time. So I found and used this site, www.RealAuthentication.com for two items and they got back to me in a few hours. It was pretty easy to use, I would def use them again. Hope this helps! :flowers:
When I look at their Instagram I see some fake Hermes bags which are not pointed as fake in description. Only $15 for Hermes authentication is not serious.

Couldn't agree with you more. Another thing that really bothers me is if they knew they can't fulfill or provide the service why don't they take the initiative to refund the customers. They have to know how much money they received versus how many services they actually rendered. For them to not respond and kept quiet while pocketing their customers' money in essence is a scam. And it seems everyone who requested a refund is successful in getting her money back which tells me that they're aware they have been keeping others money while not providing the service. Although it's only a few dollars but as someone mentioned, that's a lot of money when we're talking about a lot of people.
For a business to simply refund you the money without attempting to resolve the issue that causes the refund shows that they simply don't care. Id pay more and go somewhere else.

Exactly...& you hit the nail on the head in saying Authenticate4U should initiate the refund as opposed to the client having to wait in some cases weeks
for a response and or a refund.
Not such a professional way of conducting a service business especially if a time element is involved.

If that's the case, they should put notice on their website and stop taking authentication requests or taking payments. It's not that difficult to hide those options. One simply cannot run a business like this.

Again, that is one option Authenticate4U has & it should be considered.. Without proper communication this service business will continue to
go downhill...it's a shame...

If their Dior specialist said it's genuine, I'd be happy that I got the real deal.

It was supposed to be a lambskin wallet. However I took it my local cobbler and leather clean specialist and they both said it's plastic, not real leather (it also smells like plastic). I am getting it authenticated now by another service, because I'm sure it is not real.

I see that you didn't happen to post here on the AT Dior thread. Why not? Just curious. What do you have to lose?

And best of all, it's free!
Authenticate This DIOR

I think its because Hermes has a more rigorous process when determining its authenticity. More work means more compensation. Its also an extremely high dollar amount brand. I was happy to pay a little bit more to know it was Authentic.

Just a thought on Hermes authentications - Bababebi is the gold standard as far as most of us H collectors go. For me, I wouldn't consider anyone else and I suspect that I am not alone. Just some food for thought.

Also, authenticate4u charges $30 for Hermes authentication but charges $150 for anything in writing that could be used for a dispute. So for disputes, Bababebi is not significantly more expensive and very good (and prompt).
