If she can't handle the business perhaps she should stop accepting people's money for services that she knows she can't provide until she gets her act together. That would be more courteous and perhaps save her business's reputation from further damage. Maybe post an explanation and an apology and try to start over when she corrects the situation.

Agree here.. or perhaps hire a business manager who can pitch hit when unexpected issues arrive & intervene
with clients requests so they don't get frustrated not hearing back for days, weeks or months
The business is growing & its obvious Lesley is challenged handling it all...

Hi
I got recommended A4U by a good friend. I don't have FB (got rid of the YEARS ago). :yahoo:

Anyway, it was only last week that I used A4U. I emailed, Lesley and she got back to me on the day I emailed her - mind you I'm on the other side of the world (12-13 hour time difference). I explained to her what I wanted authenticated and she emailed me back with how the process works etc... I paypal-ed the $$$ and we stayed in contact as she needed to get more pics of the bag in question etc... BUT I got a formal email saying it was good to go within a day of the last email I sent her. My turn around time was about 2-3 nights...?

She was prompt and polite with emails etc... I didn't expect it to be SO quick due to the time zone difference. I would use her again for sure. I can only imagine her INBOX is filled everyday with questions and concerns. It's nice to be able to find a good service!

I'm sorry for those who have been waiting for months etc... :crybaby:

I recently got a Dior wallet authenticated. The service was fast and Authenticate4u said my wallet is real. However I doubt it because I feel like it's a fake one. Now I don't know what to do. :confused1: Are they reliable? I have not had so much experience with Dior so (hopefully) I am wrong and my wallet is authentic.

If their Dior specialist said it's genuine, I'd be happy that I got the real deal.

I sent payment to augenticate4u on 14 sept and there is no reply over my emails at all until now!! I need my money back after they ignore customer.. What should I do? They are doing badly in service. If hey cannot do the authentication ( I sent two emails for the same stuff and also as reminder that I have paid them and need the document as soon as possible but yet no reply) it is the right email. I hope they refund my money. Not happy at all about this...

Did you see this thread before you emailed them?

Sorry that you are having an issue but there are major problems & issues with Authenticate4U sadly speaking & communication is just one of many

I see, that's too bad. I have messaged them just now on fb. Hopefully they reply me.

I have also had the same issues with A4U and their turnaround time. So I found and used this site, www.RealAuthentication.com for two items and they got back to me in a few hours. It was pretty easy to use, I would def use them again. Hope this helps! :flowers:
There is nothing about the credentials of these authenticators even on their own site and they have a suspiciously long list of brands they're "experts" in. How do I know they're any better at authenticating an item than I am? Anybody can set up a site and sell "certificates of authenticity".

THIS^^ I agree..

Also a side note: I took their test at identifying fake vs authentic and got 100% LOL- Doesn't give me a lot of confidence in their skills as I only know two brands and at that I don't know ALL of those two brands..

And to make matters worse, I did a whois lookup on the site and they're registered anonymously.

IMO, if a site is credible and reputable, especially a site that does authentications where big bucks can be at stake, I'd expect they'd be proud to show their names so we could "vet" them as best we can.

I also had a really bad experience with Authenticate4U. I paid them on Sept. 6, and they are ignoring my emails. I have opened a case with PayPal to get my money back. It's only a few bucks, but still... I am really mad they just took my money and ran. Would definitely NOT recommend.

No response since Sept 6th. Did you try to reach out to Authenticate4U
on her Facebook page?
It's a helluva way to run a service business & rightfully you should file a dispute to get
your money back.
Just over the top chasing this service for a response when time could be of the essence.

I did not, but I shouldn't have to! I followed the proper procedure; they shouldn't be ignoring me.

I just got an email from PayPal that Authenticate4U issued my refund and the case is closed. Still no response or explanation of why they never gave me the service, but at least I got my money back. So odd!
