Good Morning,
I have had good luck contacted A4U through Facebook PMs. I recently send photos for authentication on a Friday. Leslie requested additional detailed photos on Saturday and I heard back from her on Monday with a quick note letting me know that my bag was authentic. Formal authentication letter came on Thursday. I feel that this was a very good turn-around. Perhaps try to reach out through her FB page.
Warm regards,

The problem is that people who are needing & requesting info should not have to reach out to her FB page in
order to get a response after waiting to hear back
You got your answer in a more timely manner than others have that posted on this thread

hotshot, I do understand the frustration as I experienced it early on. A4U should be in the business of timely responses and good customer service, especially those awaiting authentication on a bag that they are interested in purchasing.

Agreed! I don't use Facebook so reaching out via that method is not possible.... [emoji85]

Just a update. A4u did get me to me after contacting A4u via Facebook as recommended by some here. Also replied with a confirmation of opinion of authenticity of bag. Email verification will be sent later.
I fine with that. :)

I got confirmation on 8/9 via FB message (after my original email request on 7/26 and a follow-up email after no reply on 8/2) that my item was authentic, which was a relief to me. I was told that the formal authentication was to follow. It has been almost a month since that FB message and no formal authentication.

I'm sure if I messaged her on FB I could receive it; since I am not selling I don't care but I wanted to point that out. You definitely need to message her on FB to receive an answer. Her email is a GMail; can she not access that from anywhere?

I do understand that Lesley is having personal and computer issues; however, I wanted to mention that I still have not received part of what I paid for.

Agree with hotshot that you should not have to find Leslie on FB just to get a response. I've had to go elsewhere to have bags authenticated and am sad about this as there was a time that authenticate 4U was all I would even think about using.

I also sent them a authentication request with many pictures last Friday but no replies ever since. I paid them full amount on paypal so I guess I will need to submit a claim again them.

It is sad..

If you are not on FB, you're out of luck!!! Who runs a service business like that where you have to figure
out where someone is?

My two cents...

She is probably more available and responsive on FB because the number of people who contact her there vs the number of email requests she most likely gets is just a fraction so it's a way more manageable workload for her. If she gets 1 FB message per 5 emails, for example, it's way easier to answer that number by herself (her office staff seems to leave a lot to be desired).

Despite my recent experience with the business, I like Lesley, and I do sympathize with how hard it is to run a business, especially one that gets a bit bigger than you perhaps anticipated. I will be curious to see how it plays out in the next few months - I wonder if she might segue into a FB-only business, or maybe clean house administratively and implement tools to give a more accurate turnaround time. These things all take time, though, and she does seem to have an awful lot going on right now. I am rooting for her.

If she can't handle the business perhaps she should stop accepting people's money for services that she knows she can't provide until she gets her act together. That would be more courteous and perhaps save her business's reputation from further damage. Maybe post an explanation and an apology and try to start over when she corrects the situation.
