I just used Authenticate4U last week for 2 items and they were extremely thorough. I sent the extra pics requested and Lesley even had a second authenticator take a look as a couple of my pictures were looking odd because of the angles. I did communicate with her more through FB than email, but used email to pay and send my picture link. Very pleased with the results - they are the only service I use
She was very nice and helpful once I contacted her on FB. I also used ****************** and asked on this forum just to be definitely sure. I just wish i didn't have to be as proactive in getting a hold of Leslie after having already paid for the service. But otherwise pleased.

Don't think many of us are questioning "her niceness or the quality of her authentications",just commenting on
communication & how & when she responds to posters that are in need of a response & have to open a dispute to
get the return of money spent.
It is a service business & service from start to finish is what is expected not to figure out where to look to obtain a response when time may be of the essence.

Hi Everyone,
I just sent an authentication request through "regular channel" (not FB because I don't have one) and did not even get the automated reply. If anyone has access to FB, can you tell me if there are any major systems/personal issues that may delay my request? Many thanks in advance!

Suggest you look for another authenticating service... There may be delays that are unexpected & your response
will not be answered perhaps in a timely manner for you

It is a post-sale authentication so I have some time. I just wish that there was someone with A4U's expertise but without their communication problems! I would try Authenticate LV forum but I don't think they do post-auction authentications. If anyone has suggestions whom I can try, I'd appreciate it!

Someone recommended carol diva to me about a month ago. I ended up not needing the authentication but several people said she was good.

I've tried just recently realitycheckauthentications.com as I wanted to get a LV authenticated ASAP. They replied back almost instantly on all requests and were very nice and helpful. Just to let you know, my request was through a Facebook message not an email.
Hope this is helpful and good luck with your authentication :)

OP just said she didn't have a FB account.

Authicate4u usually asks for more pictures now. Because of their recent decline in service/excuses, I wonder if that is a delay tactic or not?

Lollipuff.com has an authenticatiom service as well. I have have never used. Anyone have feedback?

Not a delay tactic. In fact, IMO it's quite the opposite. They want to make sure they get it right and clear and definitive pictures are necessary to ensure that. (I've seen supposed authentications (from some companies) that were done with blurry or odd-angled pictures and questioned the results.

Well, I have not heard anything since 10/9 - not even an acknowledgement that authentication request or payment had been received. I sent another email today 10/13 to ask if Lesley has gotten my request and that if she can let me know by next week. I feel like I need to reach out one more time b4 asking PayPal for my money back and moving on. Luckily there is someone else reliable out there for LV authentications. If Lesley does not respond, I will assume she does not need my business and I will no longer use her services in the future.

Sorry to hear that you have not heard back & from your previous post, you are unable to access her via FB
so that in a way compounds your issue at hand.
I'd wait until the end of the week & if you don't receive a response, just contact PayPal for a refund.
Communication from Authenticate4U is just abominable & hard to make excuses for the service
at this point & so very disappointing not even to mention unprofessional.
No reason to reach out again without even getting the courtesy of a response. It sounds like her internet service or other issues
may be on the fritz for one too many times, IYKWIM..

Just a follow-up, I got my authentication within 48 hours using Caroldiva for my LV bag. Never heard from A4U even after I contacted her through PayPal resolution process. I guess I will wait until this Monday or Tuesday to start the formal process of getting my money back. It's really disappointing and I promised myself that this time will be the last time I use Lesley's service.
