Authenticate4U.com experiences?

I got an email from A4U that their systems were back up and they were processing the back log of authentications two weeks ago. I sent an email to make sure they got my two requests from two weeks prior to that and have not heard a peep. I guess at this point it's been at least 4 weeks I should just request my money back.

Do fakespotters and castira do all brands other than chanel?

Thank you. This is very disappointing.
This is why I crossed them off my list and just won't even think of using them for any authentications anymore. They don't respond and they are acting too fly by night.

Authenticate 4 U may have been good at one point, but it seems not lately and too many repeat problems with them not responding.

I have to agree with you at this point. It is not very professional. I read through this whole thread and they have been having the same issues since 2012. I sent another email asking to confirm if they got my requests again. I have not heard a word. It's been over a month since my initial requests. On principle, I need to request a refund through PayPal.

I'm very disappointed and wish there was another service that came as highly recommended for non Chanel items. Etinceler was fabulous for Chanel.

I'm curious about something, thus asking this question.

Have all of you who claim not to have received responses paid for the services? IIRC (and without going back through 53 pages to find out), I think there have been times that Lesley responded that some who claimed to be ignored hadn't even paid for the service yet.

I have used authenticate4u four or five times before(more than two year), their service has been great, responded within the timeframe. However, my most recent experience is not that good though, I have made payment and sent email on 30th April, and received email telling me that their system was down, then receive one more email two weeks ago saying that my photo aren't enough, I sumbit immediately as she requested, and I haven't heard from her since.

Does anyone know how to get your money back? thanks.

Have you tried contacting them via their Facebook page? (If you have
access to social media)

Did you pay via PP?

Definitely trying contacting Lesley via Facebook if you have it. She is amazingly responsive !

Try emailing her again. I think Lesley is working on her own lately and had an illness in the family a while back. She did respond after I sent her an email asking her to please reply quickly.

If you paid via paypal, you can file a dispute online. Or call paypal and they can walk you thru the process.

You should not have to track anyone down thru their facebook page.

If you email Lesley and ask for a refund she will refund your money. You don't need to file a dispute.

I think the issue is that people shouldn't have to either file a dispute or request a refund. If a service can't be provided then the company concerned should be refunding without having to be chased. It sounds like a fair few people are having issues and that this isn't just a "blip".

I wonder how much income has been generated in unfulfilled requests? It's a small amount per authentication so I bet an awful lot of people just write it off rather than chasing for a refund. A few years ago now I even got a "we don't know" response to an authentication and no refund was offered.
