For many of us here that have used A4U in the past & had to wait more
than a reasonable amount of time for a response, its time to move on.

Whatever the issues are, they seem to be ever present & not addressed
in a timely manner.

There are just times that the positive outweighs the frustrations of getting
an authentication when time is of essence & a response is needed.

Agreed! Sadly, while the premise of a business with many specialists filtered through a central hub is an excellent idea, which has not been well executed.

But that really shouldn't have anything to do with it, should it? Customer A's money is as good as yours is so picking and choosing (if that is in fact happening) is NOT a valid way to run a business, nor is it professional.

Please note, I'm not saying that that's what happened but since you brought it up as a possibility it seems rather troubling.

Maybe it doesn't I can't speak for her, if i feel as though things are taking too long I send a message over FB. I highly recommend anyone to do so if you feel your authentications are taking a long time. Though I recently got my Hermes CDC authenticated through a different service and it took about a week or so. Not saying the way things are being done is perfect, but this is just what I do to make sure my message isn't getting lost.

I've actually had really good experiences except for once but I use A4U often. For my Chanel I did you Etinceler recently and try were amazing too!

+1/ used them often. They have their flaws and definitely not perfect but I feel secure with their authentication. To me, its the most important factor on choosing an authentication service. Also, can't beat their prices. They do have delays but I always get a message from Lesley. I use FB on follow ups. But "to each his own" ~ there are plenty of authentication services out there to choose from. Just my opinion based on my experiences with them. :D

+1 They are the only company I use for authentications because I feel very comfortable with their answers. I agree - if you feel things are taking longer than usual, a message on FB gets a reply quickly.

That's terrible.. Did they know you needed the authentication for a dispute &
that there was a timeline?

Out of curiosity, how many times did you contact them???
Sorry for the slow reply. I contacted them three times and she had said it would be a few days. Since then...nada. And yes, she knew it was for a claim - I'd even highlighted the elements on the bag that were concerning me, as I know Tod's bags pretty well, so just really wanted some official documentation to back up my suspicions. :(

Again, that is just unprofessional & inexcusable especially when you were told
that a response would be forthcoming.

While no doubt this is a good service, there are issues that need to be
addressed & appears have gone unaddressed for too long a period of time, for many.

It was also pointed out to me in this forum by one of the "mods" that
everyone does not have access to social media.. So if the website is
having "issues" facebook is not always the choice alternative for someone
expecting a response.

Amen.

I have had such a BAD experience with the purse forum. I paid for a service that I never received. Such a waste of $30. I have sent them numerous emails and have tried to call them but to no avail. Paypal won't let me open a case since I paid for a "service" and not for "goods." I am so upset by their lack of good business practices. What they are doing is fraud and I am going to go to paypal and file a formal complaint against them. My best advice is to stay far far away from them!!

You mention in your first line, that you have had such a BAD experience with the
purse forum. Perhaps you meant Authenticate4U?

If so, try contacting via their FB page if you have access.

Many say, they respond that way..

Good luck..
