I submitted a new Chanel New Boy months ago. I had to produce more pics once I received the handbag. No response.

A few weeks later I reached out again via email and it said something along the lines of the Chanel authenticator being very very sick.

I still have yet to get any response. I'm so sorry that someone is ill, but a business must go on IMHO.

I'm like 99.9% sure my Chanel is authentic. But I just can't bring myself to carry it until I get that authentication. At this point I think I'll give up on A4U.

If you have access to social media, try Facebook.. Often Authenticate4U
will update if their are any issues going on. If you have paid for the service, you
should get your money back.

Try contacting Etinceler to authenticate your bag. They are fairly responsive.

Hello,
I submitted non Chanel requests to A4U yesterday and got the message that they have a high volume of requests at this time.

I did try etinceler for the first time for Chanel and had my responses back the same day. I was super impressed and very pleased.

Great to know. Thank you!

Hello! I buyed a Celine luggage mini yesterday and paid almost 70% of the original price, and now im so scared because i maybe think this one is not real. Can anyone help me? Where do i post pictures?
Hello,

You can go to the authenticate this Celine thread on tPF. Just read the requirements for authentication prior to posting.

The current thread I believe is here:
http://forum.purseblog.com/celine-s...-celine-please-read-rules-and-use-884802.html

Or you can use authenticate 4U. Just go to their site for requirements and pay a nominal fee to have them authenticate your Celine. If the bag ends up being counterfeit, you will have to pay more for an authenticity dispute letter to try to receive your funds back through PayPal or however you paid.

Hope that helps!

Agreed - for Chanel, they are EXCELLENT.

Hi :)

I also contacted A4U to have a Valentino bag authenticated. At my initial request, they got back to me right away letting me know how to pay. After I made the payment I heard nothing from them. After I sent several emails, I finally got a response after 1-2 weeks letting me know they needed more photos. I sent them more photos and again, they never got back to me. After 30 days had passed I opened a paypal case. Literally not even 5 minutes passed and I had the money transferred back. I never heard from them.... I can't believe they are still in business.... :-O

Not just me then... Waiting to hear from them about a Tod's bag I bought on ebay, have 3 more days until I'm out of time to open a case against the seller. Doesn't sound like I'm going to get my authentication any time soon, despite chasing them.

That's terrible.. Did they know you needed the authentication for a dispute &
that there was a timeline?

Out of curiosity, how many times did you contact them???

Thank you for saying this! For the life of me I can't understand why people here are still advocating for this "business".....because at this point it doesn't seem like a business at all.
And why so many are willing to spend their money without any result is even more confusing.

Just sad.

I recently haven't had any issues I did two authentications with them recently. With one of them they got back to me within an hour the other a few days

I submitted two requests to A4U last week after I paid through PayPal. After I sent the pictures for the first authentication, I got an email that they had a high volume of requests. (I got the same email when I used their services several months ago). I sent the second request with pictures and did not get an email back that they received the request. I followed up with an email two days later to make sure the requests were received and that email was not responded to; nor did I get their automated email that my email was received.
It is disappointing that you do not know if the requests were received or being worked on.

I did see Lesley post this on a Facebook group I'm a member of earlier:

Lesley I can't at present as our system is being restored and we have no access to files or email at this time. We do have a notification on our FB page advising. This restore should be completed in the next 24/36 hours so until then we are unable to resend but I have a note on this and as soon as I can will have this resent.

Lesley We are hoping to get access today - if not then the whole system will need to be replaced - is full new PC's - there are three.

I appreciate your frustration but you have no idea of ours

Hopefully this explains everyone's delays

Three years of computer server delays mixed with various illnesses are ridiculous. There is always some excuse. Hire an IT person for gods sake. Or find a new excuse.

I've tried to use authentication services twice and always got pinged that email that they have a high volume of requests.... I have quit and now just use other authenticators.... It's pretty ridiculous.
