Authenticate4U.com experiences?

The website hasn't been updated in almost a year and the phone number goes straight to voicemail each time I dial....I've also heard others say you get no replies and email bounce backs when trying to follow up after paying.

Anyone know what the status of the site is? And if they're not up and running anymore, can anyone recommend other sites for authentication (that produce actual statements for paypal/credit card refutes)? Thanks!

Hi. Is authenticate 4u still having problems? I wanted a pre-sale evaluation on a vintage bag. I paid and the next day got an email from Lesley saying it was sent to their brand specific authenticatior and would have a response within 48 hours. It's been way past the 48 hours. I didn't want to nudge them if there were known issues going on. I had hopes that things had improved with such a quick initial response. I recently suspended my FB account (needed a break) so that's not an option for me. How long would u wait to inquire about a status? It's not Chanel or I would've used entinceler.

If there are issues with the website, often authenticte4u will update
through Facebook... if you have access to social media, give that a go..

What are you needing to authenticate? If it is Chanel, contact Etinceler

You should feel free to contact Lesley again for an update especailly since
you have paid for a "service" that you haven't received... IYKWIM..

48 hours does seem a reasonable amount of time to wait especially
if she responded that you should hear back within 48 hours..you are past
that now & you should expect a response

Thank you, hotshot. I was trying to be patient as I read this whole thread before paying them and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. I didn't want to be a nag.

I sent a response to the email inquiring about an update. I got an automated email that their offices are now closed and they're receiving a high volume of service requests. I knew they'd be closed now.

Hopefully, they'll get back to me early next week. Thank you for your quick response with advice.

Many of us like to give Lesley the"benefit of the doubt" because the knowledge &
service is so good.

You should not feel like a nag when it comes to your money, IMO..

The website has not been updated for some time although it has certainly been updated more recently than a year ago. We are currently working on a new website and once that is ready -that will go live and the old one will then be defunct.

Our phone is generally switched to voicemail - although we hadn't realised there was a fault with it. Which has been reported to us and this is being addressed as I type. We are about to provide Skype for our clients.

We also accept requests via Facebook - our page can be found via a Search.

Email bouncebacks are caused by clients who do not read the details on the website. Basically they send requests to the PayPal email address and that will ALWAYS bounce back as it is merely tied to PayPal payments.

We did have system issues which culminated in a hard disk failure but all data has been retrieved and a new system installed.

We have contact details - i.e., email information on our website clearly but we find that clients don't always read - and in truth - there is not a lot we can do on that score.

Due to numerous requests over the past months we now accept submissions via our Facebook page (as mentioned above) as a lot of people do spend their time on their phones and find it really sinple to submit in this manner. Its not something we originally did, but when clients request, then we do feel its something to consider and therefore we are happy to provide this.

In terms of people who pay - we will contact any client whose request has not entered our mail system. However we can only contact the PayPal email address, and if that is not an email address which the client uses, then it is a little tricky. We are working on a different method of submission, but again this will ONLY work if clients do actually read the website.

Perhaps that clarifies things for you. Can I reiterate VERY clearly that we are VERY much alive and kicking, irrespective of what some would hope.

Hi hotshot, thanks again.
I got a reply from Lesley that her husband has been ill and cannot drive, and she's been busy taking him to appointments, etc. She's trying to catch up today. I feel bad that she's having personal issues and I hope her husband gets better.
She did verify that the bag was authentic and would send a formal evaluation once prepared.

No problem. My husband has had a TIA / Mild Stroke - but we are dealing with that and it is a personal matter of course. Gblb thank you for your comment, and I must apologise for the delay again. Lovely item by the way - I do so like the older items in all the Brands!!

Hi I've also received confirmation and I'm waiting on a formal evaluation/ written statement. Do you or anyone else know how long it can take to receive the document?

Hi,
I got an email from Lesley Saturday March 12, and the evaluation was received by March 17th. Have you checked your spam folder? I know other members have said it had gone to their spam/junk folder by accident. Hope that helps.

I have just submitted my first authentication request to authenticate4U!!

Could anyone share with me, in general, how many days did you have to wait before hearing back from them? I've recently purchased the multicolor insolite wallet and cles pochette from two separate sellers online and is pretty anxious in finding out whether or not they're authentic since I purchased them way over the original retail price. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

I just used them the other day and I have to say they were amazing! It literally took 3 hours for them to respond and give me my letter of authenticity. I believe they're on the west coast so there may be a time delay depending on where you're located. I'll definitely use them again in the future! Whatever you do - stay FAR away from authenticatemybag.com they're frauds!!!!
