IrisCole, do you mind letting me know how long it ended up taking them to authenticate your item? I would really like to use Authenticate4U, but need a really fast turn around.

I reached out to Lesley on Dec. 16 and received lightning fast response! Literally the same day. Great communication and so helpful. I finally got back to her with all of the additional information needed (she needed more pictures and I had to wait until the item arrived to take them myself) on Jan. 5. It's only been a couple of days, but I still have not heard back. I know she is having some health issues, which I hope she is recovering well from. If you need something authenticated in lightning-fast speed, I would suggest using another authenticator for now so that Lesley can focus on her health and you can get the info you need ASAP!

I will update you once I receive any additonal info!

I am in the exact same boat - I provided additional photos to re-confirm an authentication on December 19th - and to date haven't gotten a response. Now I understand why. If anyone can suggest an LV authenticator, I'd appreciate it.

Update from Lesley - on strong painkillers and antibiotics - so I may be slurred!
Service will resume - I am back online but there is a mountain to clear and deal with. At this time, there are major issues to address in terms of how Authenticate4U.com will now run in the future. YES it will run - and anyone who thinks otherwise or wants to push to deflate (just like my lung) can forget it. Changes will be phased in which will lead to a streamlined service which will, in fact, lead to Authenticate4U.com being online 24/7. These changes will take time to implement, but right now we are discussing the way forward. My health has suffered over the past months, and as such, we must ensure that there is a continuity of service, whether I am available or not. That WILL be our focus. We care about our clients, past, present and future, and so any changes will be for the benefit of everyone.
Watch this space for updates over the next weeks.

CB, thank you so much for posting these updates. I don't have a FB account and have never been on it (hangs head in shame) so I appreciate your postings since I didn't see any of these messages on their website. I wish Lesley a full and speedy recovery.
 
Does anyone know if the owner is okay?

I submitted a request on the 21st, and I've contacted her through email 3 times for a follow up since then. I've gotten no response.
I've checked my junk and deleted mail and I didn't see anything.

I've also contacted her through FB and have received no response.

The time for me to file an ebay dispute is coming up soon.

I know she has had some health problems and technical issues in the past and I wanted to make sure everything was okay.

I know Lesley has been on vacation - the info is on the Facebook page, it's very unusual to have had no response as they are very on the ball, so it may be worth a phone call to ensure they have your original enquiry. Also, I know they don't process it until the funds are received, did you send the £5 fee to accounts@authenticate4u? Hope you get sorted soon, but auth4u are brilliant and if you explain the date you need a report by, I know Lesley will bend over backwards to help you :-) hope this helps!

Update on our status. We are currently dealing with a large backlog of items which arrived during our long weekend. We are dealing with these as quickly as possible, and we apologise for delays, but like everyone - we do only have an infinite number of hours available in any one day. Rest assured that we are working hard to get up to date at the earliest opportunity. If anyone needs to contact us, then please do so via our email address and not via Facebook. Thank you.

I understand that. However, I submitted my request on the 21st. By the 29th (which is when that FB post went up), I had already emailed her twice with no response.

I checked Paypal, and I submitted my payment correctly.

I am not trying to put the blame on anyone. I was just a little concerned, because I wanted to know if there was anything else she needed from me in order to complete my request. I will take the other posters advice and try to call her.
