Yeah they no longer authenticate this style of bag as there are too many superfakes out there and it would take them days to properly authenticate :(
That could be part of the reason for the delay.

When there's a problem with superfakes or differences of opinions among authenticators, A4U will seek further experts to look at the item. And that's a good thing because you don't want them to make a mistake.

There are too many other "professional" services that have made way too many mistakes because they don't get more than one opinion when necessary.
 
I have used them many times and have been really impressed each and every time:) Only one delay once and they were so wonderful with communication. Dumb ques but did any responses end up in spam or junk? Very unusual not to get a response. They are such a wonderful company and offer a valuable service. I bet you get an answer soon.
 
The client has been contacted today - as due to a personal issue with our Prada team we have been unable to assist to date. We did offer a refund - and we do apologise but as humans - sometimes something crops up which is unforseeable and in this instance this is the case.

The review will now be carried out today with a result returned within the next day.

I did receive the authentication results this morning when I woke up! Thank you so much A4U! This is my first experience and I am sure it is not the norm, I will definitely be coming back in the future for my authentication needs! Thank you again!

Has anyone used their service lately? I submitted a request on 9/12/14 for a Chanel bag and I have not heard from them since then.

You have to bug them. They have really bad email issues and with my last authentication, they told me it went to their spam folder. If I hadn't bugged them, I probably wouldn't have ever gotten my authentication. That might be what happened to yours too.
 
I sent a request in August, after 3 weeks, followed up and hear nothing. I just opened a paypal dispute and still not response.
Not sure what happened.

Thank you for the advice, I just sent them an email asking for updates and received an autoresponse within a minute. I hope they'll get to my request soon :sad:
 
Sounds like it's time for A4U to change the email/server/internet provider for much more reliable service, they have been having issues forever.

A4U seems to have more than their fair share of issues.

Many of us have had to contact them more than once to get responses for
authentications that need to be done..

While it is understandable that there are issues, many of us are
under deadlines & its additional stress to follow up, IYKWIM..
 
I sent in a request on 11 September for two authentications. I contacted them on 18 September to see how long they anticipated the authentications would take. I received a response the next day, and the authenticator indicated that she was dealing with a family issue and that was what had caused the delay (which I completely understand, as I was dealing with something similar myself recently). She asked for more photos, which I sent that day, but I haven't heard back yet. Hopefully I hear back soon though! :)
