Authenticate This Vivienne Westwood

This bag is definitely fake because:

1 - the bottom prong of the cross atop the orb is square shaped rather than dovetail shaped (see hervia.com for comparisons)
2 - the ring around the orb is too low and too narrow (see hervia.com for comparisons)
3 - the label plate tag inside the bag reads 'genuine leather itealy' on the bottom line, but if it were real it would say 'genuine leather made in italy'...again see hervia for comparisons.

Hi there ladies,

I'm in need of a "heavy day" bag for when I've got a lot of work stuff that would over load my Mulberry Alexa. I came across this Vivienne Westwood tote on eBay and was just wanting your opinions. It's not one I've seen this one in the Glasgow store.

Any advice would be welcomed.

Hi I was looking at the same thing I personally think its a fake because the strap does not look correct and I have not seen it in the shop in london, but also the other stuff they are selling is for sure fake i bought some t shirts from ebay VW and they were fake after doing some resurch i found the website in china that sells them for $10 each and the other things they are selling are from that same place. Hope it helps im giving this one a miss.

I think this is OK. I have a different model with a plaque as you say but the rest is as I would expect.

Hi im new to this forum and cant open a thread yet so i thought i would bump this one up.
I just bought a vivienne westwood wallet from the sogo department store in japan. Does anyone know if this store only sells legit stuff? Reason why im asking is that:
- the little information booklet is written in japanese so i cant understand any of it
- it does not say anywhere on the leather of the wallet where its made however it says "prym italy" on the little clasp thing when i close the wallet.
Can anyone please help?! Desperate as ill be leaving japan soon and paid a hefty amount for it i'll be devastated if its a fake!

Hello ladies, Im new to this forum and I cant open a threat yet, but I would like to ask if by any chance any of you would happen to know any store in toronto that sells vivwes goods or any website where i can get help from a dealer, etc. I need to prove that this bag that I purchased is fake, in order to win a dispute on paypal and get my money back..I am positive its not authentic (I was told by the seller that it was a vintage and authentic purse, however when i got it i found out that it was a brand new replica). I know this because the material is so cheap and the stitches inside are so sloppy, without mentioning that the orb is mere plastic. Even the dust bag is so cheap. Im in a hurry to get this info because the dispute is closing on June 30 and if I cant show proof that the bag is fake, I will loose my money.
