Hi,

Could anyone help me authenticate this purse.

It's from the 2010 summer tartan run.

My main concern is the zip is a bit crap for what i'd expect, and there's not many "reputable" sites showing this design on the inside, but I appreciate its 3yr old.

If it had been £30, id have guessed it was fake but this is almost the same price as new from the store.

The seller is a power seller, 4000+ feedbacks, all good. A few designer bags / purses but it doesn't sell only those.

I queried its authenticity with them and they were very adamant and offended I ask. I know when Ive confronted a seller before they've given me a refund and 'vanished'.

They've said I can return it for a refund if i'm really not happy.

Hi, I'm not an expert but I'm 100% sure the bag is fake. The metal plate inside should read, "Vivienne Westwood London Genuine Leather Made in Italy."

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but this style should have metal feet on the bottom? You can also ask the seller the colour of the dustbag, if it's anything other than white, it's fake.

hello everybody ^^ I soooo need your help~~ has this bag ever been originally designed by Vivienne Westwood (I know on the picture it's a fake from china)? Because i have a feeling that this bag was designed only in china and they only put fake VW logo on the front :/

I've already sent this question to official VW website, but they are not answering me at all and I don't know where else to ask, since I can't find any information about it on any website selling genuine VW :(((

Hi I'm sorry I'm really late to this thread but I have 4 authentic VW bags, some of which were purchased on ebay. If anyone else needs verification I am happy to help providing the pictures are detailed enough and I will give a list of reasons why I think its real or fake. If I cannot authenticate I will be very transparent about it.

Also I little piece of advice, I would recommending using ebay uk as at least half or more of the bags on there are authentic as VW is more widely available in the UK. One aspect to look for is that the dust bag is a fluffy WHITE kind with a gold/yellow drawstring. I'd automatically list of all bags with a grey/dull colour dustbag as being fake as this is the kind used by fake VW websites.

Hi, I am not buying from ebay. I am buying from a clothing site. The lady said it is authentic but what do I know. She only gave 4 pics so far and I don't want to buy it and find out the hard way. How can I attach some pictures here?
