I've already sent this question to official VW website, but they are not answering me at all and I don't know where else to ask, since I can't find any information about it on any website selling genuine VW :(((

definitely not, sorry. The cross on the orb is a dead give away. Darn all these fakes! aaarrrgghhh

Seems there are no experts here at all, just people like me that don't know anything. I would have said it looked nice, the plate was faked correctly but you see the cross, it is straight and should curb at the bottom, meld into the next piece. Some other lady also claimed the checkered bags were all fakes. Who knows, no one!

The pink bag with the heart, unfortunately is definitely a fake. The cross of the orb is straight where it joins the planet (real orbs curve) and the Saturn rings are pointy at the ends.

The blue canvas bag with the red hearts looks pretty good to me. The style is called blue secret bag. If you google, you can find the same print bags that were once sold at reputable designer sites such as My Wardrobe. A quick comparison shows that the black leather lining looks correct, the metal plaque inside and the lining all looks good. And the orb curves in the correct way. My guess is that the 'secret' print was most probably a print specific to a season, so was unlikely faked. Instead, I would be wary when buying the Ebury or tartan canvas bags that come back season after season.

Also, this is a post I wrote a few years back on spotting a fake VW on ebay. Here I took all the photos myself comparing my genuine ebury (the red one) bought from the flagship store in Manchester and a fake (the black one). I find the orb the real giveaway. You look on ebay and most bags are fake! It is scary! And the dustbag too. Real bags always have a white, fluffy dustbag. Fakes have a papery thin dustbag in a dirty grey. Hope this helps :o)

It looks pretty okay to me.
If you want to do some further research that particular bag is in the print "secret heart" here are some examples in a slightly different colour on VW website. The print, besides the colour, looks the same.

The plaque in the gunmetal colour also looks genuine, as the fakes often try to copy the gold ones.


Also, here is a slightly different version of your bag in the same colour. The website avertises a link to buy the product at House of Fraser (now out of stock), which is a reputable uk seller of VW bags.

Hiya! I got this Vivienne westwood clutch bag for Christmas but I'm not really a fan of it so was thinking about selling it only I'm not sure whether it's genuine or not. If it is a fake how much could I be looking at to sell it, I don't really want it sitting in my cupboard. I'd just state to any buyers that it is indeed a fake. Thank you!
