/\ that one is definately not nappa leather like she claims....nor is it the icey leather. the chain looks a lil iffy to me to and why were the pics taken way back in january? i'd ask for more pics, but i have a gut feeling it is fake

Can anyone please tell me what they think of this bag??

eBay: NORDSTROM MARC JACOBS STAM BAG BLACK *GORGEOUS (item 280034412057 end time Oct-07-06 10:34:41 PDT)

The zipper is correct and the color of the inside lining looks correct. I asked the seller for a picture of the serial number and the side of the zipper, and the response I got was if you have any bad feelings about the bag then don't bid. I'm not sure if that is a sign or not. I replied and asked the seller to tell me what the numbers are on the inside tag and the return policy. Also, I asked about the store receipt and the cheap price and the reply was that the receipt was lost and the price was so low becuz they start the price really low on all of their auctions. Does the store tag look real to you? My other concern was the price, the price on the tag says $1200 and I was wondering how much the Fall '05 bags were sold for because I know the Fall '06 bags are retailing for $1275.
I went ahead and ordered the bag today from Neiman's, but I was just curious about whether I was missing out on a deal.

IMO, the auction looks fishy to me. The leather looks too shiny and her answer of your concern was totally an unacceptable answer to a prospective buyer. You have all the right to address your concern, either it's asking for additional pictures or asking about authenticity. I think stam FA'05 runs for $1200 in retail but many fake bags have Nordstrom tag. I think now they can get it easily. There are no authentic Stam bag less than $1000, especially if it's brand new. If it's too good to be true, then it probably is.

Even if the bag is authentic and you're missing on a good deal, I think the most important part is for you to feel comfortable when you're purchasing your bag, especially you're spending ALOT of money here. So don't feel bad. You're always getting the real deal from Neiman's! Congrats btw!!:yahoo:

seller is notorious for fakes. feedback was made private after they were caught selling fake Gucci :yucky:

bag is fake too. that's not taupe, lining looks cheap and hooks are wrong
