These look quite authentic to me - have the right zipper types, material on the inside, stitching...and they are quite lovely. Has anyone else confirmed?

The additional photos help. I'm more leaning towards authentic, but it is strange about the inconsisties you mentioned about the Venetia, ie the color, style number, zip pocket, and straps. I'm not sure what you mean by "label ticker." The middle strap that goes around the bag is a tad longer than I like. It's really hard to say. Perhaps MJ will email you back soon and shed light on the situation. Don't be bummed yet!

The seller is questionable, I couldn't find any info on the boards about her. She's sold some really hot IT bags for cheap, including an MJ Hudson for $600. And that buy one get one half deal is quite unusual. I did notice that classygirl2004 bought something off her, and I consider her a legitimate seller.

Regarding the Venetia tag,

If you look at the price tag closely...you can peel it off..the bar codes are off to the sides ...cutting off the number. Should I be concern? I mean , can someone be soo good as to even make up a price tag w/ bar code ?Have you seen a fake this close? I just hope it's not bought from Catwalk Lane.com

Hi, I'm the one who posted on page 94 about receiving a Hudson as a gift -- well it turns out my aunt bought it for me from the same seller that aitienadog is having problems with! I am really dismayed and upset at the possibility that it might not be real.
I have gone over all the pictures of Hudsons on this board and net-a-porter etc. and mine seems identical -- I've even counted the number of stitches in various places on the bag and they match up exactly. But I can't help but feel very worried now.
I've attached the same pictures again -- will you all take another look now that I know it's from ebay? Thanks so much.

I see what you mean! I've never seen that on any of my bags before. It's usually printed directed on the cardstock, not on a sticker. And usually the barcode is centered. I've noticed that fakes have barcodes that are off-centered, but I've never seen a sticker on the card like that before. Maybe one of the girls will confirm?

There are 2 versions of Hudson: MJ stores carry the version with all 3 teal leather lined compartments, other retailers (department stores, boutiques) have the version with leather+canvas combination (the outer 2 compartments are lined with canvas).

I looked over the auction and the photos you provided and I really can't see anything wrong with that bag. I myself don't own a Hudson, but I've seen other member's photos and theirs looks like your bag. I don't think fakers have caught on yet to the green leather interior/canvas interior and the gold embossed printing of the MJ logo. What I don't understand is how the seller can sell that bag for $675 BIN??? I would say your aunt got a great deal!

To me, the hardware and other details look the same but here is a picture of the zipper pull for comparison.

I don't have the auction number, just the seller's name, sorry.
