this bag is fake, you can see it in the shotty way they did the chain, you can see seeming and where thewy cut the metal. also the shape of the little lobster hook that attaches the chain to the bag is wrong.

this is fake too. the chain shape is worng, along with the color, not to mention the differences in different photos in the way the hangtags are attached to the bag.

Lots of red flags on that one. No paypal, too low, etc. The font on the plate is too thick. And yes, the seller is using photos from different bags/auctions. It is fake. Try to get out of the transaction immediately!

For educational purposes only: The tag that is attached with white plastic is done at Nordstroms. I noticed while shopping there that all their Stams had this type of tag, not the black string.

OTOH, several of you seem to have style number F05610 in your authentic Stams; possible that my seller, who is non-native-English speaker (Chinese; redflag? I apologize in advance if that seems bigoted), might be confused??

New season bags do have serial numbers, located in the the interior zippered pocket. I think he started putting these in his new seasonal bags starting last fall. These are not found in the classic lines.

MJ's patent leather line Ursula is very well done. Unlike typical patent leather, it feels/looks very soft, wrinkled, and distressed -- must-have details in authentic styles. A fake bag can be spotted easily, it looks smooth and overly shiny like plastic.

I noticed that the details are harder to capture for Moss. The pictures (you received & those shown in the listing) are not very clear so I am not too sure, but they don't seem/look as smooth (plastic looking) as the fakes that I have seen. If you have it front of you, you will definitely be able to tell whether it's fake or authentic.

Moss and Lobster were heavily discounted (went through several rounds of mark-downs) at stores a few months ago, some members were able to get similar ones for around $300USD.

Based on the tag and given measurements, the bag in the listing is Small. Just like Multipocket, the style name (BOWLER or MULTIPOCKET) refers to the Smaller size by default. If it's the bigger version, the tag says LG BOWLER or LG MULTIPOCKET.

im hoping it's real. the pic where the seller is holding the the metal zipper pull sideways to see the MARC JACOBS stamp, you can see a lot of wrinkles in the leather in the bottom left corner of the photo (the part that is in focus) we'll see......

Another detail that distinguishes the real from the fake is the handles. The faked ones have ironed-flat handles (yucky looking), authentic ones are puffy. Imagine the puffiness of goose comforter (not so much, but it's puffy). LOL. =) The price is not totally impossible for Moss and Lobster styles. Good luck. =)
