The color and stitching is correct for Taupe, but I would still want to see the serial tag to confirm. Don't know much about the seller. The nameplate looks pretty good too. IMO it looks really good but I'd want to see the add'l photos.

Thanks so much for yr prompt response. I requested for additional pix from the seller but he didn't email me with any. M lost as to what I shld do cos I really love this colour.....sigh.....but I ask for additional pix of the inside of the bag, back of zipper and signs of wear and tear....no reply.

Still trying to decide what I should do......

Hi, I am new here and in awe of your collective expertise.

I just received this Hudson as a gift, and although I have no particular reason to assume it's a fake, I am super paranoid about designer forgeries and would love it if someone could authenticate, since it didn't come with dept. store tags or a receipt.

PS: It smells like the Marc Jacobs store. God, I hope it's real.

Those all look good to me. The color on that first Venetia is called "washed rose". I love how there have been a few bag+zip clutch sets on ebay lately!

Congrats on your bag! I wish someone was nice enough to give me Hudson bag as a gift!:nuts: IMO, your bag looks good but look at this thread.

^^I would be very suspect of that seller. She is using the same pictures for her auction and therefore, I would stay away. I am confused by the different BIN prices for the same MJ MP. Maybe she did it on accident??? I am not sure. I would email her and ask her about it. And maybe ask for pics of the zipper heads too and the MJ nameplate on the inside.
