I think it is a fake. The leather and the 'Marc Jacobs' inscription look off and the shape is too boxy.

Cheryl, I believe your pictures are out of focus, I can't see the details. Can you retake them? Phone camera can capture the important parts too, don't need to get a disposable camera. Do the metal nameplate (MARC JACOBS) and zipper pulls (with MARC JACOBS on the sides) look similar to your other MJ bags?

I was the winner of this auction. I received the Venetia yesterday and it's beautiful!! It looks good compared to my other MJ bags. I took additional photos of the nameplate and Made in Italy tag. Sorry if they are still unclear, I don't have the best camera. I can try a disposable camera if necessary. Here was the original auction. Let me know if you think I got the real deal. I really pray, pray, pray I did! Thanks!!

What do you think of this Large Multipocket?
The color combination of Dark Indigo is gorgeous, I think Indigo is a color from Fall 2004.
