I just got a Luella Agnes from eBay and I'm not even sure they do fakes of these but I'd like to make sure it's authentic just in case.

Does anyone have an Agnes? Is it supposed to have numbers printed in the inside of one of the pockets? and is the pocket under the bag only for show?

Sorry some of them are blurry. The zippers are YKK, I tried to take pictures but they turned out even worse.

Is there an origin tag anywhere? Maybe inside the interior pocket?

Yes there's one on the side inside the bag, I can't post a picture of it because it looks too blurry.

It's brown patent, says Luella in the front and Made in Spain in the back.

taking a clear and close up picture:

set camera to macro setting.
turn off the flash.
using a lot of light or direct sunlight - point directly to the tag.
adjust lens to focus

I would not feel comfortable giving an opinion as the photo's are really too blurry to tell correctly.

Hi everyone - great site! I love it...

I need help authenticating a purse I just sold on Ebay... I actually bought it on Ebay a year or two ago and never questioned the authenticity of the bag because I thought Luella was so obscure. Silly me! Anyway, I do have 2 authentic purses that I bought at NM and Saks and the inside tag does not look the same. In those, the Luella label is a metal tag and might be from a higher end collection?? I am posting the pics that I have on this computer which I think will be enough to verify... Thank you for any help you can give me. I do not want to sell a FAKE purse on Ebay!
