Hi, I have receive this bag but not really sure about the authenticity. The stitching all looks fine but the leather is a bit soft and light. I dont know if this is the new leather for the newer Giselle but from looking at the old Giselle all the leather look thick, heavy and sturdy. Any help is very much appreciated. Also inside the bag I have found a tag where it says luella and made in turkey.

Please help authenticate (and possibly identify this type of Giselle Bag)

Hi. I found this Luella Giselle Bag in Lilac which I though to be authentic despite the fact that it does not have the overlapping flap normally seen in authentic ones.

I thought maybe Luella may have come out with something with a less cumbersome version by just putting a small flap inside the bag with magnetic closure to make retrieval of items easier.

Can someone please authenticate this for me? And what is this type of Giselle called? It looks like a different variant of the bag.

I took the photos myself. I want to make sure that this one is authentic because I absolutely loathe counterfeit products. Thanks.

1. It is made in Turkey though the tab is made of fabric and not leather.
2. The flap cover is disturbing me. It does not look like a Giselle but I was hoping that Luella came up with a different variant to make the opening easier.

This bag is authentic. I used to have the same one. That generation had non-leather origin tags. Enjoy!
