Authenticate This Luella

Please ask the seller to send you a clear picture of the origin tag (usually within the zippered interior pocket).

It is a good price, but the bag is quite dirty on the interior. I personally wouldn't want a bag that dirty -- I'd ask your girlfriend to look at the pictures closely.

I'm very cautious about authenticating, so please compare my bag pics with the leather one you're interested in. IMO it looks OK but someone else may want to offer advice.

Thank you so much even for the lead i was at a loss even to find some pictures o ones that werent quilted. If anyone else can offer any advice please do jump in.

It fits over the shoulder OK for me. The slouchier it gets the easier it is to wear over the shoulder.
The one you linked looks quite slouchy and so I think it might have been used a bit more than a handful of times.
I like the look of the leather one, and I'd recommend the bag if the look appeals to you - it's very Luella

Please ask the seller to send you a picture of the origin tag, which should be located on the interior pocket. She will probably have to turn the whole thing inside out to see it.

This is my first day and first post in this forum, but I just bought my very first Luella bag from ebay and now that I have it in hand it occurred to me it might be a good idea to make sure it's real. =P

this is the ebay auction, pictures should still be up.


I've taken a look at the bag, and the tag inside is black cloth (folded over into a sort of square-shaped loop) that says made in turkey. The inside zipper pull is heart shaped, says luella on it, the stitching is all even and regular, and the bag is definitely a leather bag (nothing creaks quite like leather does). The lining is black canvas.

Any thoughts on it's authenticity? I believe it's real, but hey, what do I know? =P I'd like to make sure before I leave the seller feedback.
