The hot air balloon looks good to me. I got one from NM last call, but it was missing two of the crystal dangles, so I sent it back. They made me furious - it was really difficult to do a return with them.

Anyway, I no longer have it in my possession but it looks good and the box & tags are correct. They must have bought it mail order because it shows the white cardboard slipcover on the brown box in the bottom photo.

The russian nesting doll, I don't have.

I say go for the balloon at least, hope you get it at the starting bid! that would be a good price for it.

It does look almost correct, but my advice is to not buy this one and here's why.

The "Choose Juicy", "Enjoy!" and "Thank You!" are all in the correct places & font. The pagoda is on the back where it's supposed to be, and the "Love G&P" stamp is on the bottom. It has the JC logo & crown on the inside of the box lid. The gold color doesn't look too bright to me.

But....on mine, the chain to the fortune cookie is much, much finer links than what that photo shows, and about twice as long. Also the 3rd shot down doesn't look like the lid is fitting tightly, even though it looks OK in the main listing photo.

Also, it's got a silver charm box in the background which does not go with this charm.

edit - I know the listing says it will be wrapped in tissue, but there is absolutely NO reason to have a silver charm box in the background if it doesn't come with a box, and it's a bit misleading to have it in every photo & want to charge another £4.50 for the box. So...they have boxes that they are swapping around. How nice.:nogood:

Yikes....I had a look at the others that are listed this morning. I can see why you are interested in that one. The others with boxes are 3 times the price.

The one you linked does look like it might be a genuine charm that had its chain replaced. So, depends how much you want a Chinese takeout charm.

Look at this listing, can you see the difference in the chain? Although they do not have it pulled out all the way, you can see it has finer links and is longer. But- the bottom of the charm looks like it's scratched up all to hell & they're listing it as new.

I have bought a few from Blondeshopgirl and she is a great seller. Charms are authentic and almost all in taged boxes

I bought one charm from Dayout a long time ago (Strawberry with Creme) and it arrived damaged, they took it back but no replacement so it cost me to buy nothing. I haven't bought anything since then.
