Hi, I can't tell any thing from the blurry photos. Why not buy the new one, it's so cute!

I have that charm, and it does have a Ltd 2008 tag like the photo. So, it would have come in a gold box back then. Also, in the 2nd picture it shows one of the wings opened up, which is good. The wings have hinges & you can put them close to the body or open them up.

They really are horrible pictures. Can she put up a photo of the sticker so you can see if it matches? The eyes should be little green crystals & I can't see that in the photos.

I'm getting better foto's so i will post back when i have them =) and yes the new one is very! cute but this one is really cheap and i'm a sucker for bargains =)

Thanks! i looked it up in the reference post (picture topic) and in the list of charms that is available here on the forum... and both have this charm in a Brown/Clasp/Pink terry cloth lining box. So that is why i have a little problem with the gold box.

But i've gotten a message to her wanting new pictures and also pictures of the bottem of the boxes (she has more charms) i think she might have the wrong charm in the wrong box. Because she also has a pink christmas stocking charm in a Brown/clasp box. And that one should have a gold box. So i'm hoping it's just a box mix up =)

Here's hoping it's just a mixup! got out my penguin's box & you're right - it should be a brown box. :shame: I should have looked at it before I posted, but I had to get to work. And the stocking does have the gold.

I've bought them and everything seems fine =) a little wear on the charms... but you can see they where loved and taken good care of.

Yes, there were a couple of sets like this. One in silver and one in gold.

Hey I think it looks good so far, but i'd like to see pics of the pink tag inside, and of the pockets inside. I don't personally think $40 is a good deal due to the stain inside. In my personal opinion I'd rather buy one within the stain for a few bucks more.

I don't think I can be of much help here, but here are my thoughts.

I have two of these charms also. One is the charm that was sold individually, and it looks like the one in the charm reference thread posted by vtfroggie recently.

The other charm is on the graduation charm bracelet from 2006 and it looks like the one on the right in your photos. It's slightly smaller and has the lettering, while my individual charm has no lettering except for what's on the LE tag.

I wasn't buying charms in 2006, so I don't know if there was another version of the charm, maybe someone else can comment on the charm on the left in your photos.

Ahhhh I'm so glad I found you guys. I've been hoping to find some answers about JC watches. They are some of the best looking watches I've seen. I have two watches I'm hoping you gals can help me with. The first one is the Pedigree jelly strap watch. I never really had any concerns with this watch until I noticed the small crystals on the face on the face aren't crystals at all. They look like "crystal dust".

The second one is the Rosegold Surfside watch. I see a lot of discrepancies from the stock pictures I see on the JC and other reputable retail sites but I'm wondering if there are different versions of the same watch or if this one is a counterfeit.

I'm hoping someone can shine some light on this mystery.

The only thing that is throwing me off is the bottom leather bits around the corners, and the pocket inside (I am not sure if this should be a solid gold pocket or not). I would wait for someone here to give you a better indication, but in the mean time you can try to look for one online to compare.
