I have fallen in love with this handbag and ask with all my heart, is it authentic? I have asked for more pics, but it ends soon. The dust bag looks good to me....what do you all think?

I am sorry, I have never seen this style, but some of the ladies more familiar with the older style might be better judges

I've never seen this style either. The pics of the interior plate are blurry and the exterior metal nameplate is not clear either because of the flash. I'd ask for some type of authentication. Is this an e-bay listing? It actually looks pretty good, I have only seen the more popular bags being copied like the Ramona, Mahala, Ruse, and alot of the clutches.

IMO it is fake. I would be suspicious of anyone selling an expensive bag with only one picture, and for such a low starting price!
I think you're right. I sent a message asking for more pics and the person basically told me the lining is a beige suede like fabric with a lilac tag and that he would provide no additional pictures. He also said that if I had any doubts, not to bid. Hello....how can I bid on something with no other pictures to look at? My search continues......Thanks again for your input.

Jmcadon, is there a guide or listing anywhere to help authenticate the marin clutch since there are so many fakes on EBay? I am aware of the zipper diamond pattern and it appears that the interior nameplate usually stands alone on the authentics and is a one piece connected to the zipper on the fakes. I'm searching for one but keep getting faked out.

AgelessHarmony, I don't think there is a guide for the Marins. I have seen a couple on e-bay that were real, but most are fake. I think one of the give-aways is the starting price. No one is selling a 1250. bag for less that 1/2 price IMO. The fakes are getting better. It used to be that the H in Choo on the outer plate was wrong, but I'm seeling it correct in the newer fakes.
Robynbenz is the expert on the interior lilac plate font.
I have yet to see a fake with the right zippers, tho. I usually take out my magnifying glass to look.
Also look really close at feedback. Are they selling alot of low priced handbags? Even 100% feedback is not a guarantee! If they are selling lots of JChoo in the same style I'd say they are fake. E-bay is a crap shoot and most of us have been burned!
mare76 - I am no expert, but I thought I'd take a stab at this. I pulled out three authentic Choos to compare the lilac plate with the one in the eBay auction. The font looks a little different (thicker) in the eBay Mahala. On all of mine, the top part of the H in Choo has more empty space between the two vertical parts of the letter. Also, and I cannot see the eBay pic too well, it is a little fuzzy, but, all of my three have the plate mounted higher in the leather space AND the embossed MADE IN ITALY is more visibly placed. So, this is not an answer, but just my observations.
