It really is worth the piece of mind knowing you received an authentic bag (as your first purchase) Most all of the bags on ebay end up being a huge "crap shoot" unless you are really careful and get lots of photos and make sure there is a long history of feedback. Additionally, if you do feel the need to have one now, let me know what you are looking for and I will keep my eyes open for you. I know how it is to want something and get so fixated on it that you end up making a rush decision. As we all know, those typically don't turn out very often Good luck!
AMEN!

I rarely browse ebay ....and wow, what a load of fakes JC"S!
Just not worth the stress!
Good call Robyn with the SAKS ECG suggestion!

My friend sent me this link, but geez, i'm not familar with this style:confused1:

What do you think?
Thanks!

Hi this bag is the Tribeca medium, part of the Tulita Collection that was pictured in the Spring/Summer 2007 JC catalog.

As for authenticity...I'm not familiar with the bag IRL, and the pictures are not sufficient to make a call. You need sharp, clear close ups of the lilac plate, zipper, and outer plate.

There are three red flags for me. 1. The seller has a short activity list even though they have been on eBay for 3 years. 2. The item is in the UK, but prices are all in AU dollars. And 3. Someone selling an expensive item like this should know better and already have close-up pictures posted.

In other words...if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.... :shrugs:

Jburgh - you're totally right!

I emailed the seller and got a totally different answers to some questions than my friend. Her response to my friend about where she purchased it made no sense.

Robynbenz, what is the ECG event at Saks? I'm unfamiliar. I usually go to the JC store but Saks may be another option.
Thanks for the tips. I didn't know there were sales coming soon. I was about to jump the gun and spend more than necessary for the bag I wanted.:tpfrox:

It is SFA's way of getting you to keep coming back:push:

It is a dedicated day where depending on the amount of $$$ you spend, they give you a Electronic Gift Card to come back and spend more at a later time. (They often call it "Spend some, Get some")

For example, I always try to hit the $2000.00 limit and you end up with $300.00 gift card to use at a later date:tup:

Here is the table on how you can determine the amount of you ECG:

$250.00-499.00 - $25.00
$500.00-999.00 - $50.00
$1000.00 - 1999 - $150.00
$2000.00 - 2999 - $300.00
$3000.00 - more - $450.00
$5000.00+ $500.00

Fee free to ask any other questions!

Be sure to keep an eye out in the Deals & Steals thread, there is always discussion about the event!

Thanks for the 411 on this event. It will definitely come in handy. I always forget about the Deals & Steals thread. Thanks for reminding me.

Any help with this girls? It is apparently the inside of a tulita for sale on ebay, does this bag have an inside pocket only I asked for a close up of tag and zip and this is what I got :shrugs:

I am not as familiar with the Tulita, but the font on the lilac tag looks good. I do not know if there is only one inside pocket, but some of the other members could definitely answer that. As for the other bag, I would have to see larger photos to make any type of judgment call.

Sorry I wasn't more helpful:confused1:

That's lovely Robynbenz, many, many thanks, I'll try to enlarge the pics of the other one.
