On grounds that they cannot see the markings on the inside of the rings. And also I also thought of the signature on the open heart pendant which is different from the newer models. I have to try if they are magnetic when I get home. And no, nothing is peeling off. Thank you very much.

The signature is different on the pendant probably because it's quite old. It looks like the older signature 80s/90s to me

I've been doing a little research for you! The links and finish look good to me. And it doesn't look like the fakes that you can buy with cheap thin chains.

MMM you're right that silver is relatively cheap, but base metal is cheaper. In my experience counterfeiters will use the cheapest production methods!

$14 is amazing!! The way to tell with anything with a chain is to look at the joins. Tiffany items are finished by hand.
