Hi everyone - my husband's mother gave him a watch as a gift and it's raising a couple red flags for me, so I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me if it's a fake. It was purchased while she was on a cruise in the Caribbean. It's supposed to be a Philip Stein watch, but here are the things based on my research, that don't add up for me:
-There is no serial number, anywhere
-The "trademark" and "registered" markings on this watch do not match those of authentic watches I've looked at from reputable dealers (the box itself has no trademark or register markings)
-The supposed "frequency" chips, of whatever they are supposed to be, look like little pieces of copper instead of what authentic retailers describe them as (no markings or anything, they look beat up, etc..)
-The box came with no instruction booklet or card or any literature at all, just the box, the case & the watch.
What do you think?? Thanks!!
I don't know anything about these watches but I'd start off with something I do know about. Is the strap genuine leather? If not it's definitely fake. If it's real leather then it's a good sign but doesn't guarantee anything!

Hi, I'm not sure if I posted in the right section but I just bought on eBay a white gold cartier love ring circa 1996 for around 890$. I didn't know it was from 1996 until I purchased it. Based on the pictures it looked extremely polished with barely any scratches.
It does not come with any cert or box but just the ring alone.
I bought it from this Japanese seller which apparently sells used jewelry and designer goods. (brandshop-kuraya_tokyo)
Is the price I paid for a 1996 ring worth it or a decent/good deal? No experience here :(

Would someone be able to authenticate this for me? I'm having issues capturing the detail on the inside of the bracelet but from what I can see, it says DY 925 then 585 underneath - I'll try to use an actual camera and upload an additional photo later

Thanks!

On what grounds? It's pretty much impossible to tell from the photos. Are they magnetic? Can you see silver plate coming off? They are all vintage so the signature is different to nowadays. I can say that the earring posts look like Tiffany's as do the earring backs.

On grounds that they cannot see the markings on the inside of the rings. And also I also thought of the signature on the open heart pendant which is different from the newer models. I have to try if they are magnetic when I get home. And no, nothing is peeling off. Thank you very much.
