I'm not an expert on these watches but the way the screws fit on the back looks a little cheap to me.

Hello all,

I have recently bought this VCA pendant from a second-hand dealer based in Japan. As this is my first VCA purchase, i am worried about its authenticity due to the length of its necklace. Could anyone help to authenticate this necklace? Thank you so much :smile1:

i love it too, which is why i bought it the moment i saw it!!
I feel that it's longer than the normal pendants which i had tried in the boutiques. Thus i wasn't sure...
I think this was a "limited edition". Unless you find someone with the exact same necklace I'm not sure you're going to be satisfied. Is it solid gold and a real diamond? Fakes rarely use the real materials. The malachite does look lovely...the millegrain edge around the diamond looks very fine. When you work with premium jewellery like I do you start to notice that the great jewellers really do get everything perfect!

Thank you for your reply!

Yes you are right!!! Its 2013 limited edition :)) yes i also feel that it looks ok except the chain is 42-46cm insead of 38-42 cm, thus a bit concerned...im going to get it engraved later, hopefully the boutique could help me check the authenticity before working on it? :)

I think some tpfers have experiences with this issue and posted in this forum too. For luxury house like Tiffany, Cartier and VCA... they only work with their own stuff, so if they agree to engrave on yours it's a go

Hi all,

Pls help me verify this VCA Alhambra onyx pendant. Does it look good to you? I haven't got any VCA piece so far or have a chance to look close up to any so your chiming is very appreciated.

Hi everyone - my husband's mother gave him a watch as a gift and it's raising a couple red flags for me, so I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me if it's a fake. It was purchased while she was on a cruise in the Caribbean. It's supposed to be a Philip Stein watch, but here are the things based on my research, that don't add up for me:
-There is no serial number, anywhere
-The "trademark" and "registered" markings on this watch do not match those of authentic watches I've looked at from reputable dealers (the box itself has no trademark or register markings)
-The supposed "frequency" chips, of whatever they are supposed to be, look like little pieces of copper instead of what authentic retailers describe them as (no markings or anything, they look beat up, etc..)
-The box came with no instruction booklet or card or any literature at all, just the box, the case & the watch.
What do you think?? Thanks!!
