just an update should there be other interested girls in the future too, since i got no response about my query here (heheh!) i brought it to tiffany's last friday for cleaning. i know they don't authenticate and if you bring an item in for cleaning and it's fake, they won't service the item and tell you it's not theirs. i got the necklace back today looking shiny and super clean! i'm so happy and can finally breathe a sigh of relief. :)

So you have just proved something new for the benefit of others. Tiffany markings definitely vary over times. As do the pouches, and other ephemera. Enjoy your Gehry. I just read other threads saying Tiffany Gehry items are likely to become rare!

Can someone help me authenticate this Nixon watch:

An orange Nixon Timeteller watch off Newegg:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA03S0GD1617

What makes me uncomfortable about that color is that it's not officially supported on Nixon's online store or in big chains that carry their watches, like Zumiez or Nordstrom.

But Newegg is this large online store, so you'd think they wouldn't carry counterfeit merchandise?

In general, would Nixon watches that feature colors not available anywhere else be counterfeit, or older discontinued models?

Hi there, would you be able to authenticate this Tiffany's bracelet please? The seller assures me it is genuine and would accept returns. It's from an eBay auction and the link is: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171065381773?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you.

I am sorry but this is a glaringly obvious fake. The rhodium finish is almost blinding, and the hook eye near the "N" in the word Tiffany is sitting parallel to the toggle. The bag is completely wrong as well. If you purchased this bracelet, please ask for a refund. Sorry.

Hi, I'm not an expert, but here are my thoughts:

The second item linked had been sold when I looked, so I didn't look at it that closely (the, I believe, vintage Alhambra clover).

The first item (sweet Alhambra rose gold clover) looks good to me. I like that it comes with the packaging (VCA box) and the certificate of authenticity. The price looks appropriate. Markings, size, etc. look ok. Seller has good reviews and has sold similar items.
