i'd be hesitant, I don't think cartier did WG gold plating when aldo cipullo made the Revlon bracelet......someone correct me if i'm wrong.

on the other side it shows Tiffany and Co. i compared it with my current necklaces and the Tiffany and Co stamp usually has the circle with the letter C before it. this one does not but has it on the back with the GEHRY signature instead. I haven't owned any designer tiffany but is that usually how the stamping will look like?

the clasp and everything else really looks the same as my others which i bought from tiffany store. i'm just concerned about the stamping here. one more thing i'm concerned about is the POUCH. i compared the pouch with my others and this one is larger. is this possible that tiffany has a larger pouch for designer items?

as for the box, i noticed the Tiffany print is darker than the other boxes i have, but at the same time i have one box that's the same as this one. in my other boxes, the printing is usually thinner but i also have one box where the printing is darker. can anyone comment on this?

please refer to my pics to see the pouch comparison i have, box comparison and the pendant itself. the 3 boxes in the pic is a comparison. the one on the most left is the one in question and the other two is from tiffany.

just so you know, i also bought a tiffany gift card from this person and i verified with tiffany and it's legit. but i just want to be sure the frank gehry willow i have is legit too. :)

just an update should there be other interested girls in the future too, since i got no response about my query here (heheh!) i brought it to tiffany's last friday for cleaning. i know they don't authenticate and if you bring an item in for cleaning and it's fake, they won't service the item and tell you it's not theirs. i got the necklace back today looking shiny and super clean! i'm so happy and can finally breathe a sigh of relief. :)

Hi - I'm wondering if anyone can give me a little advice about Rolex -- a friend introduced me to a jewelry store locally that deals in estate pieces. (If it wasn't a solid, long-established jeweler that a dear friend loves I'd be more skeptical) I have a women's datejust on hold, two-tone with black face. It has a diamond bezel and no diamonds on the face. The jeweler told me it was definitely a factory bezel, but I'm wondering if Rolex does diamond bezels with no diamonds on the face (numbers). Opinons?

I am trying to buy tiffany's solitaire diamond necklace.
size .19 carat and its platinum.
tiffany sells the piece around $1600 and it's going for around 800 on ebay.
can anyone who has similar piece show me what authentic tiffany platinum lobster looks like?

Hi there,

I work for a second hand retailer. We deal with donated goods and it is often very hard to authenticate certain pieces. Chanel is one of those things I am not good at authenticating.

We received this necklace. It's rather costume-y. The pearls aren't real and the beads appear to be glass. The metal has no silver content. Here are some photos
