Hi everyone! I would be grateful for some advice. I recently purchased this necklace at a consignor store, which claims that this is an Elsa Peretti design, retailing for $159. However, when I got home I checked Tiffany.com and this design isn't on there! Do you know if it's an older model or did I get ripped off?

Thanks so much for your help!

I'm thinking of buying a couple of fairly expensive watches on jomashop.com and was wondering if anyone can verify the authenticity of the watches on this site? Are they fairly reliable and how is their customer service, etc...

Thank you!

If the search function was working you'd see that there a lot of members who have purchased from Jomashop. Items are authentic. Customer service is dicey. Some people have received the wrong item and returning/exchanging has been difficult. Also you will likely not be able to get the manufacturer to service the watch if there are any issues with it in the future. I'd recommend visiting the manufacturer website to get a list of local authorized retailers, visit and get pricing before purchasing through Jomashop. Depending on the brand, most authorized retailers will give you 10-30% off and you will have the security of doing business in person if you have any concerns.

I'm not going to lie, I highly doubt an absolutely 100.00% of their items are authentic. When spending that much money on a watch, I'd go with a brick & mortar store.

They are known as gray market watches.....so you will take your chances. For a mid-level watch, I am sure that they are adequate, but you must know that the manufacturer's warranty is not honored--just like a used watch. I know we all want to save money, but if you really cannot afford to buy a Chanel, Dior or Cartier from a brick and mortar, maybe it's not for you. For something with such a high price tag, I wouldn't take the chance, because you are dealing with more than just jewelry here.

For a higher end watch, I'd probably try Tourneau. If it's not available at tourneau.com or at Nordstrom, give the Tourneau store at the Forum Shops in Las Vegas a call - they have a huge selection and some of the SAs are pretty helpful (others are less than friendly).
