sweetpees.....I hope you are able to cancel the check. I think it is the best thing though. Please don't stop looking for vintage gucci though!! I love them!! There are sellers out there that are not scammers...good luck!

I had this exact bag when I was in high school (and would still have it today had it not been in a box of vintage clothing that was stolen along with my car). :sad:
Anyway, I graduated in 86 and think I got it around 83 or 84...just to give a timeframe. It is from the Accessory Collection. I got mine from a Gucci store (so it was authentic). From the pictures you have shown to me in my opinion, it looks authentic. It looks just like my bag did. The leather(color & texture) looks right, the inside lining looks right (it should be a suedish/soft feeling lining, that is usually peeling or flaking in spots on a gucci from this time period). The handles look right. The interlocking G's emblem on the front of the bag looks right. The inside tag looks good. It would be good to see a picture of the bottom of the bag. However, to me it looks good, just my opinion....hope this helps, maybe someone else will come along with an opinion as well:smile1:

Also, the seller mainly sells clothing, and shoes, but there are some designer bags for sale that are not priced ridiculously low - i.e. Chloe Silverado, etc., and the seller isn't selling multiple items that are the same... anyway, I hope the Gucci is real otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do!:sad:

I don't know if it's real or not, but if it's fake do a chargeback. Go thru your CC company, or Paypal. CC company is easier.
