Unfortunately both of these Gauchos are fake. Here are some tips I posted within the "authenticity tips" thread with regards to Gaucho bags...you may want to take a quick peek...click here (just scroll down the guide starts at posting #147) or view the entire guide on eBay click here. It may help you quickly decipher the replicas and authentic Gauchos, and posting on tPF is always the best way to confirm authenticity! best wishes! :heart::heart::heart::heart:

Hello ladies! I am new here, I usually hang out on the Hermes thread but I also have a Dior collection. I spotted this on ebay and wondered if I could get some expert advice as to whether it is authentic. Given the starting bid my instincts tell me that the price alone indicates it's counterfeit but I'm just not sure given the seller's good feedback and representations - can you help?

Thanks for confirming it - it's the old saying that always rings true "if it looks too good to be true it probably is!"

The kelly is vintage - around 1970 - it belonged to my late mother-in-law and I absolutely cherish it!

Welcome to Dior. The Samouri bags are so beautiful, but unfortunately this one is fake. Here are some quick example pics as to why. best wishes

Also! See this fake has a piece/patch of leather hanging as well...authentic designer handbags never come with an extra piece of leather.

To date, I have never seen an authentic Dior Samouri bag on eBay...sorry! I check the eBay listings worldwide daily. This bag is pretty new, maybe give it a little bit of time and if you ever see another Samouri or any other Dior bag...feel free to post here! Welcome to the wonderful world of Dior....now when I get ready to buy a Hermes bag, helllllllp. :yahoo:
