To do the needle test, take a little sewing needle, warm it up till the tip is red hot and then slightly prick the fabric you want to test. Leather won't show any mark. Plastic will leave a (little) hole.
Hmmm good tip for future reference.

Here's one to compare it to, has the smooth leather tag albeit black and double pocket:Your bag looks good but yes you're right, the tag looks different from suzie's. Looks like patent leather (what makes you think it's plastic) as suzy's is grainy (like my mine, on the saddle, i must admit it...) Hmmm your case deserves a little researchLet's see if we can find some other shoulder flights to compare...
I know we stumbled across the same one....... Chiiiiiic!!!!!!!![]()
reported the b&^%*^rd...and had a laugh at that what a load of BS ...

The flight comes in both single and double pocket, the one in the auction is not fake and nor is your bag.Found another thread from MayDay listing out how to tell the different between real and fake Flight:

MayDay's post is on page 5. Notice the screw on the D hinge. Mine has a very small barely noticeable one:

I decided to do the needle test by Moon anyhow. Where the needle touched the plastic, it melted. I still didnt believe it so I tested it on the inner zipper pully as well, and now I have two melt marks. I plan on emailing the seller to let her know she sold me a fake purse, and see what happens then.
Thank you all for the help. You guys are great.
PS - I thought the auction with two front pockets is fake, all the Flight east/west bags I've seen have only one single pocket.
Oh I see what you are referring to, not the hinge but the tiny screw. The flight comes in both single and double pocket, the one in the auction is not fake and nor is your bag.
What may is referring is the screws above the D not where you have circled.

The D you have pictured is that the front one?

The link to the flight bag (other auction) is a reputable seller.

Hello...I just want to confirm, is where you circled actually hollow (as if a screw was put through it) or is there just a circle into the metal? Thanks!
If you look at the auction posted by myself and moon that seller appears very reputable and that bag has the little screw you are referring to, also if you look closely at the first pic of Suzy's hers also looks to have that same mark on the D.Yeah, the picture where I circled is the "D" in the front of the bag, which can open to secure to the detachable strap on the bottom.
This is what my ebay seller said:
I can assure you, this bag is 100% authentic, I do not buy nor re-sell fakes. I bought this bag at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta at Phipps Plaza. If it's a fake then they sold me a fake! You can send my name to whoever you want, sellers will see my feedback is impeccable and I do not sell fake items.
