I've already bid on it, but what the heck... I can let it slip away if I find it's embossed (shudder) or gets too spendy (not embossed).

Here's the thing - I can't readily find references to Cole Haan producing purses in genuine alligator or crocodile - although I did spot this auction (no price est.!):

I REALLY want a Cole Haan triple zip satchel in gunmetal as I fell in love with it but was too late to get... Can anyone tell me if these on ebay are real or fake?! TIA! :smile1:

Hi everyone :smile1:

I purchased an authentic Cole Haan bag in December 2006 from a boutique in Foxwoods Casino (CT). I am trying to identify the style - I think it is a Medium Bucket Bag in Deep Purple Leather but I'm not entirely sure. I threw away all the tags, etc. when I first bought it (dumb I know!). I purchased it for $425 (I also know it came in black leather bc my mom bought one).

If someone can help me identify the make/model/size bag I own, I'd be MORE than grateful!! I've attached pictures for reference.

If this is posted in the wrong forum, my apologies (and can someone point me in the right direction!).

Oh! And some more details. The inside of the bag has "Cole Haan" engraved in a leather square patch (inside is Nylon; outside of bag is smooth purple-ish leather). Underneath "Cole Haan" it says "Paige" and "H05."

I was wondering if anyone has seen this Cole Haan bag before. I can't find anything like it on the web. The inside tag says Cole Haan F05. It is all leather. Very nice quality bag, just not sure if it is a real one or not, it has a made in China tag inside too. Any help would be appreciated.

So I've seen this bag in stores in every color but orange..

I absolutely LOVE this color bc it totally changes the look of the bag.


Since I haven't seen it anywhere in orange I'm a little worried it could be a fake. I haven't even seen it in this color on neimans , saks or nordstrom online either, but they do have some of the other colors. I'm also concerned bc the price is so low.


Do people really make fake Cole Haans?
What do you guys think, is there any chance it could be a fake?
