So, I troll Ebay as stress relief. Sometimes I find bags I want. Some bags I am simply curious about.

Could this bag be pre-creed?

Item: COACH Vintage Brown Leather Large Rectangular Structure Tall Boxy Tote Bag Purse

Ebay seller: http://www.ebay.com/usr/ucc.vintageclothing-2009

Ebay URL: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171268475182?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Thx for indulging me.:smile1:
I can't authenticate this listing you're asking about but the seller, ucc.vintageclothing-2009 had a listing for a fake the other day and has had fakes in the past.

This is the creed from a recent listing:

I guess it is. The buckles look like the solid brass buckles Coach used then and there are no grommets on the strap. It looks authentic. I've never seen a pre-creed purse that looks like this style. It reminds me of the Legacy Compartment tote from 2000. (Maybe that is why it is called Legacy.)

ETA: and BeenBurned is right; the seller has a poor track record.

Thanks BeenBurned and Whateve for the information and heads-up about UCC Vintage. (Naive me figured they were a thrift shop based near a UC Campus. Not so. Not so.)

And thanks BeenBurned, Whateve, and Hyacinth for the cautionary warning about Timeless-Collections!

It's murky water out there in the Ebay Sea.

Well I'm bummed! The guy at the Salvation Army didn't hold the bag for me. :(

I did however find another one at Value Village today after work. It's a bit scuffed up, do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I looked online briefly and saw there was pewter coloured shoe cream available, do you think this would work?

And could you please tell me if you think this is a real Coach. It was only $17.99 and I can return it if need be. :)

GOOD MONDAY EVENING LADIES!!!
I had the worse EVER buying experience with UCC..the bag I received was unbelievable..( Iwon't go into that ,it still freaks me out) But..the owner wrote long screaming emails to me about how they didnt have TIME to check each individual bag etc...they had so much stock..blabla..There was NO reasoning with her !! for 3 days she yelled at me~ I had to open a case with ebay! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE doing Business with this seller..Fakes, SNADS.. look at their history ,their FBs..they believe the BUYER is always WRONG! Definitely not buyer friendly..my 3 cents
All the BEST!! Sheri

Lol....wouldn't want to deny you.....:p

"This is the fifth of seven Coach handbags I'm selling on ebay to help with my daughter's college expenses. My ex-wife is moving away into a much smaller house and she seems to have had a weakness for Coach handbags. But she's done a great thing by offering our college bound daughter the opportunity to gain from her weakness. She gave all her unused Coach bags to my daughter to sell and since I have a high ebay customer/seller rating I'm here to offer you a deal".:graucho:

Now that's cute! And he has a sense of humor too. :smile1:

Wow, what a great deal! It's an authentic FP Zoe. Katev fixed the scuffs on her metallic Zoe with metallic paint. There is a thread about it on the forum. It was probably about a year ago.

I responded to you in the other thread. I know the ice skates is fake because I have a real one to compare to. They never made the dog in blue. I wouldn't trust any of them. I hope BB gives us her opinion.

This one might be authentic but the picture of the lozenge isn't clear enough to tell. All the other keychains are fake.

But based on the other ALL FAKES from GF78hot on Etsy, I'd stay far away even from GF78hot andthis possibly authentic one.

I didn't see the listing Shannonmarie referred to but this seller has had some interesting listings with several guys who are good sports but they sure don't look like they enjoy the job.

When we discussed the funny listings, I knew of a funny seller but couldn't recall the ID. Luckily, I just happened upon him in another search. ETA: It's the same seller Shannonmarie found. He's been doing this for a long time and really seems to enjoy himself! I'd buy from this guy just because I love his sense of humor!

Lol, I did see some of his other listings. I was in the market for a crossover to take on my daughters field trips and came across his, at the end of the pictures he added one of his dog sleeping so I couldn't resist. :p
