Hi - I'm wondering about the age of this bag, about when it was introduced -
Seller says before 1994, but if anyone can be more specific that would be great.
I do think it's authentic, what say you?

Auction Title: Coach Classic Soft Companion Zip Bag Ivory EUC 9300
Auction #370822281889
Seller: pursenurse1

It looks fine to me. My catalog page is from Spring 1989. There are some on ebay with NYC creeds so I know the style is older than that. Since this listing has a US creed, it was made between 1989 and probably 1991.

Could somebody please take a look at these two auctions?

Thank you very much!
The first one is probably okay. I would need a clearer picture of the creed to be sure. It's a station bag. The second one is authentic. It's a Rambler's Legacy.

I wanted to reference post #10629 from the closed thread but don't know how....

Isn't there some recourse for sellers to illustrate to the eBay powers that be, that the original listing stated exactly what the buyer is now complaining about so that negative feedback can be removed? We all know that the buyer isn't always right and they need their knuckles rapped every now and then. I mean, short of writing, only buyers with IQ's higher than dull normal should bid, what's a seller to do?""

Regarding the above - I wanted to let everyone know that after speaking to ebay I was able to get the ONE negative removed because my listing was accurate, and the second one will be removed within a few days, waiting to see if the buyer responds to my feedback revision request, if no response ebay will remove it themselves.
I had no idea that they would/could do that, so thanks for letting me know!!
Another SAVE from the wonderful TPFers!!:p
Could it be? That fairness and logic is alive and well or is this a one-off? Congrats! you deserve it.

Hello everyone. I was given a couple of bags to rehab. One of them I can't find anything about. I'm including pis of the front and back and a so-so picture of the creed

It's a very early style from around 1978 called a Slim Pouch. There was a tiny photo of it a while back on one of Coach's pages when they were introducing some of the remade classic styles. Sorry about the poor picture quality but it doesn't enlarge well.

It's probably the granddaddy of the Station Bag and great-granddaddy of the original Willis.

I guess I just lucked out. The rep I spoke to was extremely helpful and
actually gave me some good tips and suggestions. We discussed a lot of ebay policies
and what changes might be in the works, though as he said they take a looooooong time
to actually implement.
And happy to report that one of the negs WAS removed immediately!
Yay! Justice!

Ebay wants to eat their own cake and everyone else's too!

Oh YAAAAY!! That's it!! Thank you for the info and picture. Do you have a guess as to the age of this one. One other detail I can add....it's hang tag is 2 pieces of leather bonded together

My guess would be that it was only made within one or two years on either side of the 1978 date, since it's not in my 1976 or 1981 catalogs or in what's probably just a partial 1979 catalog (the ones from the 70s are really just small folding booklets, "catalog" is too grand a name for them.)

By the 1983 catalog page I've shown below, that style had been "upgraded" to the two Shoulder Pouches, the larger one of which became the Station Bag.

Almost all the vintage bags had a 2-piece hangtag made of two halves glued together. It's not a problem, our rehabbers at the Rehab and Rescue thread usually just glue them back together again.

OOHHH I want one of these, the smaller ones!
I don't think I've seen one on ebay, are they pretty scarce?
