It looks good.

never mind...lol

I went to quote you and your post disappeared! I'm curious as to what you bought at FP!

Ha ha...I don't even remember what I posted or why I edited it to a 'never mind.' I think it must have been in the wee hours of the morning and sleep deprivation had set in.

I bought the Smythe satchel back in early November. I'd been wanting it in the pink rose petal since I first saw it in the boutique in the spring but had hoped to see it at the outlet. That didn't happen and the ones on eBay didn't look to be in the best condition so I more or less dropped finding one.

I'd wanted a pink bag since seeing your beautiful one in that gelato leather...I think yours is the Parker bag with the soft twisted leather strap...those don't come up too often either. lol

So...I don't wear pink...it's not even a favorite color...but I do love the lines of the Smythe satchel so decided to get it in the 'milk' color. It had been sitting in the dust bag and then I saw it on Coach.com...on sale...and in the pink! Maybe I really did want the pink. I'm awful...I know it.

Off to the boutique I went to return the bag and have them order the pink for me and at the sale price. Surprise, surprise...they had two pink ones that came in for the SAS this week but when the SA brought it out and I saw them side by side...I kept the one in 'milk' anyway. Such a long story over nothing, really. lol

This is only bag #2 I've bought at the FP store and while I do love the vintage styles and thicker leathers, I couldn't resist this one...so far. It's still sitting on the dining room table. I'm thinking it's a little dressy for me.

I'm crazy and I know it. lol

Hi, I just picked this up and wanted to make sure it's authentic. It's black pebbled leather with silver hardware and the number is H1073-F15251. I think it's the Carly. I can take more pictures if needed. Thanks much!!

That is true about black. I'm not even finding black lately. Well, I did find a horribly dirty siggy and pink bag today. But I don't care for pink.
I think we have the holiday season to thank for that. I haven't gotten any bags via eBay in 2 months since the competition is so cut throat, although I have still found a bag a week while thrifting and entirely too many obvious fakes! (Signature bags with G's instead of C's, bad creeds, etc.)

I'm not usually a pink lover either but I love my pink Parker. Because I think it is the perfect pink bag, I've been able to resist other pink bags.

I've never seen the Smythe in real life, but it looks beautiful on the website. I don't think it is too dressy. It has great reviews.

As you know, I'm a fan of newer stuff as well as vintage. I have about the same number of each, but the vintage were a lot cheaper!

I bought some shoes from SAS but no bags. I have a couple bags I bought on ebay from 2006 and 2007 on their way to me. I know I don't need any more but I couldn't resist!
