Thanks. It's gone already.

Another thing I noticed is that the handle hole is shaped differently from the other 9993 bags on ebay.

I didn't even look at the details other than the bottom seam. But I will next time. And there are two genuine listings up right now with excellent photos that have been added to my library.

Without any kind of photo of the inside showing the creed or the lining there's NO way I'd consider buying that bag.

Straps with clips can be changed and can't be depended on but the turnlock seems slightly wrong even for a later Monticello, both the turnlock plate and the leather around it. The color seems off too although you can't depend on colors to be reproduced accurately, but that greyish tint is something that I saw in another fake Sheridan that I bought years ago. And there's no reason that a genuine bag would have a different bottom seam.

I'd bet you a bucket of grickles that the creed says it's made in Korea.

Speaking of her JUDE309 ID at ebay, if you search the main Coach forum here at tPF you'll find a TON of posts about this scammer. I would NOT advise buying from either JUDE309 at Ebay or from VintageBaublesAndBag at Etsy under ANY circumstances! She seems to make a habit of hiding or blurring creeds in questionable nags too. BUT WAIT !!! THERE'S MORE !!!
She has ANOTHER fake currently listed on Etsy - a known fake serial number that's in Daria48's Fake Numbers Guide with fake overstamping lines AND THE WORD "SCRTCHES" MISSPELLED:
Authentic Vintage Coach Large Dark Green Leather Flap Patricia's Legacy Shoulder Bag

https://www.etsy.com/shop/VintageBaublesandBag

Etsy members, please report if you can. AND DON'T BUY FROM THIS SELLER AT EITHER OF THESE IDs
I have been reporting these bags to etsy but it's still not gone. :pout:
Does etsy actually enforce their policy? I would feel sad if someone bought it unknowingly thinking they were authentic.

I reported them too and even included a link to Daria48's Fake Numbers List at Ebay, but still no removal.

I think Etsy is turning into a Listia.

Item - Coach spectator court
Listing number - 271528050954
Seller - vintagecornerfinds
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vinta...954?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3f3855410a

Comments: The creed uses the No xxx-xxxx format which i *think* is for bags before 1989, if I'm not mistaken and read the salearea guide properly. I thought spectator court bags were made like in the late 90s and had the serial style 6870? There's already a person bidding on it and I'd hate to see that person get cheated. Anyways, I just want to make sure I'm not being suspicious for nothing. Not an expert on this that's why I turn to you ladies here.

Once again, :ty: and :urock:

The date when the serial format changed from 3+4 to 4+3 varied according to the plant and can range from around 1989 to around 1992. And Spectator styles were made in the late 1980s through about 1990-91, not just in the late 90s. This one is probably from around 1990.

Except for 1988 when Coach changed ALMOST all of their creeds close to the beginning of the year to Made in the US from Made in NYC, none of the dates for bags before 1994 are exact because there was no way to date them exactly.
