Comments: Was interested in this, and I asked the seller for the coach creed but received no reply. However, the more I observed it, the more I feel that this bag is fishy. The colour is weird. And the hardware is different from my monticello that Hyacinth had authenticated. Like the strap clips and turnlock. The bottom of the bag is also different from mine. My monticello's bottom is split into half like this:

while the one listed looks different.

But I may just be mistaken. The authenticators here have much more experience.

Straps with clips can be changed and can't be depended on but the turnlock seems slightly wrong even for a later Monticello, both the turnlock plate and the leather around it. The color seems off too although you can't depend on colors to be reproduced accurately, but that greyish tint is something that I saw in another fake Sheridan that I bought years ago. And there's no reason that a genuine bag would have a different bottom seam.

I'd bet you a bucket of grickles that the creed says it's made in Korea.

Speaking of her JUDE309 ID at ebay, if you search the main Coach forum here at tPF you'll find a TON of posts about this scammer. I would NOT advise buying from either JUDE309 at Ebay or from VintageBaublesAndBag at Etsy under ANY circumstances! She seems to make a habit of hiding or blurring creeds in questionable nags too. I found another questionable (at best) listing on Etsy. This bag has a J4H "too perfect" serial number.

The Westin Shopper you received looks ok.

Even though the serial number of the bag you got matches the one in her photo, it does NOT match the number posted in her listing. She qoutes "X8G-9021" in the bag's description. If she mistakenly used a template from a previous Westin Tote (maybe the one she sold in February?), the bag with that serial number would have been fake, "X8G-" would NEVER have been a valid prefix. So you dodged a bullet but once again it shows how completely untrustworthy she can be as a seller. And if she "borrowed" that listing template and description from another seller, that's just as big a problem.

And the one you got is still four years away from being "vintage". She's also one of the sellers who falsely describes generic Coaches as "Bonnie Cashin" when most of them weren't even made until at least 10 or 15 years after Cashin left Coach, which is false and deceptive advertising.

Once again, a reminder to everyone to NOT buy from JUDE309 at Ebay or VINTAGEBAUBLESANDBAG at Etsy. Seller mixes real with fake and does NOTHING to authenticate what she's selling even after multiple reports and removals by Ebay.

Not as far as I know. And they sure wouldn't have been making it in 2003. Besides, the S plant code was being used ONLY for China as early as late 1995. Hangtag color doesn't match either, and the seam of the piping around the base is in the wrong place.

Another thing I noticed is that the handle hole is shaped differently from the other 9993 bags on ebay.
